Chaotic Comedy Romance ‘Why R U’ premieres 23rd August 2023 on Heavenly, IQIYI. Other channels for international viewers to watch haven’t been announced as of yet. The series is a remake of the popular Thai series of the same name and it stars Lee Jung-Min, Lee Ye-Hwan, Lee Sang-Min and Park Chang-Hoon. A college romance that portrays two couples in college who start off with a lot of animosity towards each other but in the end develop close bonds.

Love Class 2

August 11th 2023 we will witness the return of Korean BL Drama Love Class. Season two will follow a different storyline than season one and it will also feature more couples. The story begins in freshman year for 3 best friends, Hyun, Minwoo and Joo-Hyuk. They’re looking forward to starting their adult lives but little do they know of the trials and tribulations of love that await them outside the classrooms. Love class will air on Rakuten Viki & Gagaoolala for international viewers.

Kohei Higuchi and Atsuki Mashiko from GENIC will star in MBS’ upcoming BL “#ドラマ体感予報”. It is a drama adaptation based on Nikke Taino’s comic of the same name. The drama will take over “Tokyo in April is…” timeslot starting on August 10th 2023. The story follows Popular and handsome weather forecaster Segasaki. Segasaki is actually a tyrant at home, no one knows this better than Yoh, an ero-manga artist in a tight spot financially. The two of them live together. More than that Yoh cooks and cleans for Segasaki! In exchange for being provided food, clothes and shelter he must “obey everything that Segasaki says”. What comes from such a contract?

The KBL Drama previously known as ‘Follow The Wind’ starring Jang Do Yoon and Son Hyun Woo will premiere on August 2nd on iQIYI. The story depicts Ba-Ram & Han-tae who became close after an incident that happened at the music academy. Now they are adults, Ba-Ram is in a band and Han-Tae is the band manager. They remain close friends even though Ba-Rams heart moved past friendship long ago.

Only Friends

Mew, Ray, and Boston, a group of business students running a hostel together, blur the lines between friendship and romance in GMMTVs latest college drama. Mew has been focusing on his studies, setting aside no time for sex and relationships. Upon learning of his friend’s innocence, Boston introduces Mew to Top. What Boston intended to be a one-night affair turns into something more and he isn’t happy with the turn of events. Economics student Sand wants an exclusive relationship with Ray, but Ray has feelings for Mew and he’s not interested in settling. IT guy Nick finds a sex tape in Boston’s phone and ends up in a friends-with-benefits relationship with him. Her works are definitely something we look forward to every year, and this time she is back with an action packed series titled ‘Kiseki: Dear To Me’. The drama, also known as ‘Miracle’ portrays Zong-Yi, an aspiring doctor who is forced to take care of an injured gangster, Ze-rui. The two get familiar & fall in love. However, Zong-yi is wrongly imprisoned for ZeRuis crime. They’re torn apart, and so are their friends Eddy & Chen-Yi. Four years later fate reunites them all in different ways.

Heartstopper – Season 2

Charlie (Joe Locke), Nick (Kit Connor) and their friends at Truham Grammar School are back — and, like every other teenager in the world, they’re just trying to figure it all out. Though their friends are in the loop, Nick isn’t publicly out at school and Charlie wants to make sure Nick’s coming out experience is way less traumatic than his own — “I want you to come out when and how you want to,” he says. ‘Man Suang’ is the first-ever historical BL movie project of Mile Phakphum and Apo Nattawin from ‘KinnPorsche The Series’. The film is inspired by real events and also stars actors Tong Thanayut, and Bas Asavapatr. Man Suang is a social gathering place where aristocrats would meet, drink, smoke opium and watch live entertainment during the reign of King Rama III. The story portrays two commoners, Khem and Wan, who are asked to masquerade as actors and infiltrate Man Suang to unmask a group of rebels. Khem (Apo) one of the spies befriends a drummer (Chatra) while there & asks for his help.

“Red, White & Royal Blue” is an upcoming American romantic comedy film directed by Matthew Lopez. It is based on the 2019 novel of the same name by Casey McQuiston. The film stars Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine as the son of the President of the United States and a British prince, respectively. First Son Alex Claremont-Diaz is the closest thing to a prince this side of the Atlantic. With his intrepid sister and the Veep’s genius granddaughter, they’re the White House Trio, a beautiful millennial marketing strategy for his mother, President Ellen Claremont. International socialite duties do have downsides—namely, when photos of a confrontation with his longtime nemesis Prince Henry at a royal wedding leak to the tabloids and threaten American/British relations. Hanyang International Releases Statement Regarding Their Projects

Korean Production House ‘Hanyang Studio’ released a statement regarding their upcoming BL series ‘Love Is Like A Cat’, ‘Eccentric Romance’, and ‘Wuju Bakery. The first season portrayed Eli who is in trouble at school, as punishment he is asked to take part in the preparations for the upcoming school prom under the care of Nikko. The two have nothing in common and are at each other’s throats constantly. But things take a turn when they share a dance and Eli feels his heart skip a beat. TJ Tommys novel ‘Hey Dont Mess With My Heart’ will be adapted into a TV series. The story of Yu who has undergone surgery many times in his life due to a tumuor. At the age of 15 he has another surgery but unfortunately, he doesn’t wake up. Years later he wakes from his coma with some new abilities and a contract with someone from the underworld. An unexpected bond is created between a medical student and a grim reaper.

Iridescent Love

It was announced by Harikorn Solutions that Moomooten98s novel ‘Iridescent Love’ will be adapted into a TV series. The story depicts the life of an ordinary office worker. He doesn’t have many friends; he isn’t flashy and he doesn’t go out much. At night however, he dresses up cutely and opens an app where the people who ‘donate’ receive his hottest photos. All is well until an encounter with the guy next door.

Inn Sarin Ronnakiat

Inn Sarin Ronnakiat, most well-known for his role in ‘The Miracle of Teddy Bear’ has signed on with GMMTV. As of now it’s not yet known the role he will play in the media but we are hopeful he will be cast in the 2024 line-up.
