Stay Still the Series Remake

The six-episode Cantonese mini-series has wrapped up and fans couldn’t be more disappointed. The premise followed Hayden, who has just moved to a new place. Coincidentally he helps Damien’s grandmother and meets Damien in the process. The two individuals, who had no connection before, start a complicated relationship after an unexpected kiss. Enter Archie, another gentleman who reunites with his high school sweetheart, Kelvin. Kelvin is now married; however, they disregard their circumstances and rekindle their love.

The series attracted a lot of criticism from fans, mainly due to the brevity. Fans felt that though the plot was interesting and the cast performed well, the short time frame didn’t allow for the characters stories to develop properly. In response to this, Jupiter Entertainment will be remaking ‘Stay Still’ into a full-length series consisting of 10 episodes. Each EP will be approx. 40 minutes long and there will be new storylines. Ambiguous

Studio Blossom has revealed the main cast from their upcoming Korean BL drama ‘Ambiguous’. The actors are Kim Sung Kyung, Hyun Woo and Eun Si Woo. The drama is a campus romance and will portray the university life of Kim Do Yoon, a senior, and Lee Yeon Jun a freshman. Additionally, actor Eun Si Woon will take the role of Shim Joo, Yeon Juns friend and confidant. A lot of details regarding this series are still under wraps, we will keep you updates as soon as we know more.

The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese

The live action film adaptation of Setona Mizushiros Manga series was originally released in 2020, with Okura Tadayoshi and Narito Ryo taking on the lead roles. The movie is now being made available to the public for free on Rakuten Viki. The story portrays Otomo Kyoichi who works at an advertising company. He has an indecisive personality. Even though he is married, he repeatedly has affairs. One day, a man appears in front of Kyoichi. The man is Imagase Wataru. Wataru graduated from the same university as Kyoichi. It’s the first time they have met since Kyoichi graduated. Wataru currently works for a jack-of-all-trades agency that does anything for its customers. He is sent by Kyoichi’s wife to investigate whether Kyoichi is having an affair. Wataru tells Kyoichi that he has liked him for the past 7 years. He also tells Kyoichi that he wants to have a sexual relationship with him, and in return, he won’t tell his wife about his infidelity.

Senior Love Me – Season 2

Whodo studio released the prequel to this series earlier this year. Season one consisted of two parts and it portrayed the story of Bam who gets a job working at the same café as the senior he secretly likes. For their own personal reasons, the two decide to simulate a relationship, this causes feelings that are difficult to explain. Part I of season 2 has already been released on YouTube and Part II will be made available to the public soon.

Where Your Eyes Linger – Movie

The movie is a re-edited version of the 2020 series starring Jang Eui Soo and Han Gi Chan. Hwang Da Seul, the director of ‘To My Star’ and ‘Blueming’ re-edited and released the new version at the Venice film festival earlier this year. The plot depicts Han Tae Joo, 18 year-old student and successor to the TB Group. He is blessed with a wealthy family, good looks and popularity. He has very few worries. Kang Gook, his thoughtful childhood friend, is physically strong and is trained in different martial arts disciplines. Tae Joo is Kang Gook’s only friend. Tae Joo trusts Kang Gook and feels at ease around him. Tension erupts between them when a new female student, Hye Mi, shows interest in Kang Gook. As the two go on a date, Han Tae Joo becomes irritated, and soon after, long-suppressed emotions start surfacing. The movie will start playing at CVG on 6th September 2023.

Wedding Plan the Series – Special Episode

In true MeMindY fashion, they will be releasing a special episode of ‘Wedding Plan’ and it will only be available to those who can pay for it. The special episode will air on Saturday 16th September 2023. International fans will be able to watch it on Vimeo for $9.99 USD, it will also be available on IQIYI. For those who didn’t manage to watch ‘Wedding Plan’ the premise follows Namnuea, a wedding planner, who falls in love with Sailom. The hiccup is Sailom already has intentions to get married to Yiwa, a girl his family arranged for him to marry. Coincidentally Yiwa is also in a predicament because she has a lover called Marine.

Indigo: Reimagined

MLV film production will be releasing a remake of the Pinoy Horror/Thriller BL ‘Indigo the Series’. The series will star Rod Grande Corpuz, Edz Bonggastar and more. The original series was taken down by YouTube, and rather than re-release the same version, MLV has decided to recreate a better version of it. We will release more details regarding this series once we have them.

This upcoming Korean BL drama Is based on the Manhwa ‘Love Supremacy Zone’ by Hwacha and will stars actors Lee Tae Vin, Cha Jun Wan, Oh Min Su and Cha Woon Ki. The plot of the drama is based on Tae Myung Ha, a young man who is dropped into a game made based off of a novel that he knows. His age in the game is 19 years old, the darkest time of Myung-Has life. The mission of the game is to make another player, Cha Yeo Woon happy. Cha Yeo Woon is Myung-Has favourite character in the novel. He had a favourable impression of him because they had a lot in common, and now he gets to make Cha Yeo Woon happy. But now the game is unfolding completely different from the novel. How will it end?

Wheels And Axle

Jun is a gay man born and raised in a postwar newly-rich family. Manami is a female student who hates her wealthy family because they are “fake”. They begin to “share” one host guy called Seiya. The lives of three people intersect in the devastated town Kabuki-cho district of Tokyo, which has lost its heat. The movie will star Masato Yano, Uri Suzuki, Atomu Mizuishi and premieres on November 17th 2023.

‘Teenager Judge’ is an upcoming Vietnamese campus-themed BL web drama with 20 episodes and a 30-minute runtime per episode. The drama stars ‘Mr. Cinderella’ actor Nguyen Ba Vinh and is scheduled to start filming in November for a January release.
