Love Sick 2024

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of its release ‘Love Sick The Series’ will be remade with a new cast and a fresh new take. The series will star Almond Phumsuwan and Progress Pasawit as Punn and Noh respectively. The drama is based on the novel ‘Love Sick: The chaotic Lives of Guys in Blue Shorts’ written by Indrytimes and it portrays two high school boys who are both in relationships but can’t help the feelings they have towards each other. OMG Vampire

Lee Long Shi and Frank Thanatsaran will take the lead roles in the upcoming supernatural romance drama ‘OMG Vampire’. This is the third consecutive series the two have appeared in together after ‘Love Syndrome 3’ and ‘Crazy Handsome Rich’. The series will be directed by Phadej Onlahung, the man behind ‘Dear Doctor I’m Coming for Soul’. As of now no official synopsis has been released for the drama, implying it is an original work

My Biker

An upcoming Boys Love movie from ‘Wayu Film Production’ and ‘Pigeon Pictures’, starring two new actors in their camp, Joe and Fongfong. The movie premieres November 27th 2023 at 19:00 (GMT+7) on their official YouTube Channel. Members of the channel can watch this movie starting from the 24th of November onwards. Though they are a small production company, Wayu Films has been releasing content continuously thoughout the years. Other works of theirs that you might enjoy are ‘Monochrome’ and ‘Internship’.

Studio Wabi Sabi 2024 Lineup

On the 23rd of November 2023, Studio Wabi Sabi will hold their annual press conference to announce their 2024 line-up, the event has been dubbed ‘Next Page. The press conference will be streaming live and has been made available for everyone to watch internationally on their official YouTube Channel at 18:00 (GMT+7). In addition to the announcement Boun Noppanut and Prem Warut released teasers from a series they’re supposedly starring in together. This was good news for their fans who were afraid they might not be featured in works together after Prem chose not to renew his contract with the company.

Be Love, Go Love

Line TV, in collaboration with TAICCA unveiled the ‘Be Love, Go Love – Chinese Original Series Development Plan’ aimed at fostering Boys Love (BL) and Girls Love (GL) content in Chinese- Language original series. The project invites script submissions and involves industry heavyweights like the director and producer from the Korean BL drama ‘Semantic Error’.

The initiative aims to select six promising script proposals for a 20 week development phase. Chosen candidates will work closely with mentors, script writers, producers and consultants from Taiwan, Thailand and Korea. This collaborative effort seeks to nurture diverse content and tap into global markets.

Notably Wayne Song, an actor from the acclaimed drama ‘HIStory 3: Make Our Days Count’, expressed a keen interest in starring in projects helmed by the ‘Semantic Error’ director and producer, offering to do so without compensation and even concerning his own expenses.

The initiative also boasts an impressive mentor line-up, including renowned directors and produce from various successful BL dramas across Taiwan, Thailand and Korea. This endeavour signals an ambitious push to encourage unique storytelling and create engaging, culturally diverse content In the growing landscape of BL and GL series l. With submissions open until December 17th, this initiative marks a significant step in fostering original series development and international collaboration within the Chinese entertainment Industry.

Khongprot, a third-year engineering student has had a secret crush on Pluem, a fourth-year student since they were in high school. Over the years, he watched from a distance as Pluem cycles through many girlfriends. One day he witnesses Pluems most recent girlfriend break up with him publicly. This time Khong decides to take a shot at Pluem, hoping it will be different. A secretly love, starring Kimmon Woradom and Kut Tanawat, has just wrapped up filming and will air on February 17th 2024 on Channel 3 and WeTV.

Playboyy

Copy A Bangkok has released a 1-minute teaser, a first look into episode 1 of the series to give the viewers a glimpse into what they can expect from the first episode. Playboyy follows the lives of three guys who find themselves entering the dark world of sex workers and drug dealers while investigation the disappearance of their friend. The first episode will air in full on the 16th of November 2023 Uncut on GagaOOLala, Viki and Cut on Youtube.

My Stand-In

IQIYI and YYDS are collaborating to adapt Shui Qian Chengs popular Chinese Danmei novel ‘Professional Body Double’ into a tv series. The series will star Up Poompat (Lovely Writer) and Poom Phuripan (Bake Me Please) as Zhou Xiang and Ming Xiu. The story portrays the relationship between two men over two lifetimes. In both of them Ming Xiu treats Zhou Xiang as a substitute for the person he truly loves. Does their relationship stand a chance?

This series has already begun filming and is expected to air in the first half of 2024.

Dinosaur Love Special Episode

Kong Montree and Pepper Pongpat will reprise their roles as Rak and Dino once again for the Dinosaur Love Special Episode titled ‘Go To Vietnam’. The project picks up after the events of season 1 when Dinos father informs him that he needs to get married. Will this be the end of his relationship with Rak? Or can they survive this hurdle?
