Jack and Joker

Yin Anan Wong, War Wanarat, Bonz Nadol and Prom Ratchapat will play a notorious gang of thieves who operate under the name ‘Joker’ in Dee Hup House’ latest project ‘Jack and Joker’. The pilot trailer opens up with the group attempting to rob a casino run by Mark Siwat but unfortunately, they are outnumbered by his security detail. What is the end game for this team? And what is the history between Jack (Yin) and Joker (War)? Find out in this action-packed series which is set to air in early 2024.

Eat This Love

The series formerly known as ‘YZilla’ will star Peipei Krit, Rang Jirakith, Kutto Nattakit and Nucksueb Thansakul. The story follows Meekhun, a famous food critic who has been facing enormous debt his mother had amassed. Its hard to see if it’s a blessing or a curse when he suddenly finds himself the sole inheritor of his grandfathers’ restaurant. The restaurant is located on a small island that’s quickly becoming a tourist spot. If he were to sell the land the restaurant is on, the money would be more than enough to pay off what his mother owes. But unfortunately, nothing ever comes easy. Theres a caveat in the will that states Meekhun will only be permitted to sell the restaurant and the land it sits on if/when he runs the business for one year. Meekhuns biggest headache, however, is the restaurants chef who Meekhun has a bad history with. Eat This Love is expected to air in 2024.

I Feel You Linger In The Air – Scent Of Memory Special Episode

Just to recap ‘I Feel You Linger in The Air’ is a series that aired earlier this year on Youku. The story follows Jom, an architect who recently had his heart broken. Jom had just come to a place of acceptance when he ran his car into a river. He wakes up in 1920s Chiang Mai where he meets a Nobleman named Yai. And thus begins their forbidden love story.

The sequel ‘Scent of Memory’ picks up after Jom had returned to the future. He still remembers Yai and he misses him very much. On a whim, he makes a wish on a meteor shower to see Jom again. And to his surprise, when he wakes up the next morning, Yai is lying next to him in his bed. Now the tables are turned, as Jom must help Yai adjust to life in the 21st century. But how long can their happiness last when neither know how long Yai will be with Jom. Scent of Memory will premiere on December 17th 2023 exclusively on Youku.

With My Dear Bro

This is not a BL series, but it would be remiss of us if we didn’t give it an honorable mention. Do Won and Han Do-Jin, who recently starred in the Korean BL drama ‘Love Tractor’ will now feature in this travel series. The two will be travelling across El Nido in the Philippines where they will showcase the wonderful scenery and tourist attractions in the country. ‘With My Dear Bro’ will air on Heavenly on 8th December 2023.

Addicted Heroin-Thai Adaptation

Ever since he was young, Bai Luo Yin has been living with his divorced, poor and careless father, Bai Han Qi. When he turned 16, his biological mother, Jiang Yuan, announced that she is re-marrying and her partner is a high ranking official, Gu Wei Ting. Gu Wei Ting has a son (Gu Hai)who holds a serious grudge against him ever since his birth mother died and he does not approve of this marriage. Through a weird twist of fate, the two step brothers end up being placed in the same class at their high school. Despite their wildly conflicting familial backgrounds, the two slowly develop a bond. This series is adapted from the novel ‘Are You Addicted?’ by Chai Ji Dan. The novel was previously made into a live action drama in China in 2016 but was banned from airing due to the nature of the drama violating Chinas Censorship laws. In actuality this will be the first-time fans of the series see the ending. The Thai adaptation of Heroin the series will air in 2024 starring August Vachiravit as Hero and Mac Nattapat as Pop.

Dear Kitakyushu

A short film from the director of ‘Be Mine Superstar’, David Bigander. The project is a collaboration between Thailand and Japan and will star Mark Siwat and Uemura Souta. The film depicts a man from Thailand who visits Japan on business and has a fateful encounter with a Japanese man whom he falls in love with. The film will premiere in film festivals starting this December before any international release.

Monster Next Door

‘Monster Next Door’ is an upcoming series from Wetv x Kongthup production. The drama will be adapted from the novel ‘Godzilla Next Door’ by Jiwinil. It portrays an introvert who keeps mostly to himself. He spends a lot of time in his apartment, with very little interaction with the outside world. His life is thrown into chaos when a new tenant moves in next door. An extrovert who is loud, frantic, annoying and can’t stay out of his business. Do opposites really attract or is that just a myth? Find out in 2024.

Spare Me Your Mercy

This project has been in the books for quite some time now. The adaptation of Sammons novel ‘Euthanasia’ was delayed for close to a year due to the schedules of the actors (Tor Thanapob and JJ Krissanapoom) and ChOne31 not wanting to replace either of the lead cast members they had chosen for this particular project.

Synopsis:

The rising death rate of terminally ill patients raises a doubt in Police Captain Wasans heart that he cannot shake. One in particular is his mother whom he hadn’t been able to see before her passing. Luckily, she wasn’t alone at the time of her death, Dr, Kantaphat, his mother’s caretaker had been by her side at the time of her passing and had been a source of comfort to Wasan afterwards. The feelings between Doctor and Captain grow fast and strong and as the mystery of the deaths unfolds, Kantaphat becomes the main suspect. Can Wasan trust his lover? Or is there more to this story.

Every You Every Me

There is nothing more frustrating than when a production company decides to hide the story behind what is set to be a truly great piece of work, as is the case in ‘Every U The Series’. On Monday the 27th of November at the TLM showcase, the pilot trailer for the series aired. And while the pilot had everybody captivated with its multifaceted approach, it also had people confused as to what exactly the story will portray. Is it a story of reincarnation? Does it have a supernatural element? Why have the two lead characters managed to live a thousand lifetimes and why do they always fall in love in each one? Find out for yourself when ‘Every U The Series’ starring Top Piyawat and Mick Monthon airs in 2024.

To Be Continued

Fluke Pongsapat and Junior Kajbhunditt take the lead roles in Ch3’s new Boys Love drama ‘To Be Continued’. The drama portrays a meeting between two friends who haven’t seen each other in ten years. Achi is now a popular celebrity and Jirawat a hot-tempered doctor. Metting again rekindles old feelings each of them harbored in their hearts. One is sure they are meant to be together but the other is not sure this is the path for them. Watch the trailer for ‘To Be Continued’ below.

Cherry Magic – Thai Adaptation

GMMTV is taking a bold step, they have decided to adapt a couple of the most treasured Japanese BL manga into drama series. The first is Cherry Magic which will star Tay Tawan and Newwie

Colorful Melody

“A composer trying to clear his writers block finds inspiration in a young painter”. This series was produced by 28MD8, the house behind ‘Love of Winter’ and ‘Hard Love Mission’, and will star actors Ter Sittar and Team Pokawin.

Dead Friend Forever

However, a series of disturbing events causes tension and unrest in the gang, who begin to suspect there is a 9th person hiding somewhere in the house. When things take a sinister turn, they try to unravel the mystery, and dark secrets from their pasts come back to haunt them. They realize that if they want to survive, they must quickly find out who is behind the deadly and bloody occurrences. DFF stars the entirety of the next generation ‘Be On Cloud’ actors and it premieres on the 23rd of December 2023 on IQIYI.

Love on Lo

Double M Studio will release a new mini series titled ‘Love On Lo’ starring PP Kawin an Golf Witchayapong. The series is scheduled to premiere on December 26th 2023 on WeTV.

Synopsis:

Golf is a cheerful and good-humored man who was assigned the task of finding a location to take photos during the New Year countdown. On his trip he encounters Pond, a man devoid of all emotions or feelings. It is their difference in states of mind that attract them to each other.
