Shows like ‘The Whisperer’ and ‘One Room Angel’ are testing our imaginations, while ‘Middlemans Love’ tested how far we can go without cringing. Spinoffs like ‘Our Story’ expanded beloved franchises in refreshing ways, while ‘What Did You Eat Yesterday S2’ has defied the season slump. It’s content like this that keeps us glued to our screens and we are here to keep you updated on all of it.

DMD Friendship

This is a reality show featuring Domundi’s Next-Generation actors. The actors will be put together in one house and spend the next few weeks honing their skills in acting, dancing and singing. The group will be competing to find the perfect partner (ship). The two winners will star in their very own DMD original series next year. The show is hosted by Poppy Ratchanon and it Premieres December 17th 2023. It’s worth noting that this show this very similar to GMMTVs ‘Safe House’ and Be On Clouds ‘The Hidden Character’. These reality shows have proven an affective way to test out actors chemistry and fans response to certain pairings.

Love On Lo

DoubleM Studio’s upcoming mini-series starring Golf Witchayapong and PP Kawin premieres December 26th on WeTV. The story portrays two men with opposite personalities who are forced to share a room while on a trip. The show will be available to watch for free worldwide.

Mr. Doctor

Suphadach Wilairat (Bosston) and Kavinpat Thanahiransilp (Jo) will reprise their roles as Mingmuang and Namning in the upcoming Thai drama ‘Mr. Doctor’. ‘Mr. Doctor’ is a spin-off of ‘Be Mine Superstar’ that focuses on the romance between an actor and a doctor, and is based on Orpheus’ novel of the same name. Drug dealers accidentally mistake Muang, an actor, for a government official while he’s filming on a secluded island. They try to take him out but through some luck he survives and ends up in the hospital where he encounters a hotheaded doctor, Ning.

I don’t like it, But I don’t know what to do

Eie Matsumoto (Hideyoshi Kan) owns and works at Tamae, a small restaurant located in the back alleys of downtown Osaka that serves cheap and delicious home-cooked meals . Eie, who speaks the Kansai dialect well, is friendly to everyone, young and old, men and women alike. His cozy shop is always busy. One day, Hisashi Soga (Jun Nishiyama ), a divorced office worker who has been transferred from Tokyo to Osaka, visits Tamae with his boss. Eie can’t take her eyes off Soga’s every move, he is so moved by his actions that she falls in love with him at first sight. Premieres January 11th 2024.

Dear Kitakyushu

A Thai-Japanese collaboration film, directed by David Bigander (Be Mine Superstar). The film stars Mark Siwat (Love by Chance) and Souta Uemura (Perfect Scandal: Too Sweet Kiss). It portrays a fateful encounter between a man from Thailand who visits Japan on business trip and a local man whom he falls in love with. The movie will be screened on December 14th at the Kitakyushu International Film Festival before any international release.

Good Grief

Daniel Levy, who wrote and directed Good Grief, stars as Marc, a former painter and current children’s book illustrator who’s content with his life in London, even though he’s often overshadowed by his exuberant and charismatic husband Oliver (Luke Evans), an author whose novels have been adapted into a wildly popular global movie franchise. Everything is forever changed after Oliver’s abrupt death the night of the couple’s annual Christmas party. As Marc is forced to deal with the tragedy, hard truths come to light which compel him and his two closest friends, life-of-the-party Sophie (Ruth Negga) and the more reserved Thomas (Himesh Patel), to travel to Paris. Good Grief premieres on Netflix this January 5th 2024.

Dead Friend Forever

DFF series is an original work which was created by BOC to reward its next generation actors who took part in the reality show ‘The Hidden Character’. The story follows eight friends who travel to a vacation home in the middle of the forest as a farewell to Jin, a friend in the group who is going to study abroad. The trip allows them to go back and relive the memories of their high school days. After a series of disturbing events, the gang suspects there’s a 9th person hiding in the house. As they try to survive, dark secrets that were hidden come back to haunt everyone. They must find out who is behind these deadly occurrences. DFF pre- mieres on December 23rd 2023 exclusive to IQIYI.
