I think the most exciting thing that happened for me this week was the release of the trailer for “The Ex-Morning”. It was like waking up on Christmas. I’m so excited to see Krist and Singto back on the screen again. I feel like the new trailer gave all kinds of tidbits that I’m curious to see play out. Will their on-screen chemistry be as hot as their stage chemistry?
Let’s all tune in to find out.
Now, onto the week in review. Note, next week there are a lot of new Thai BL series dropping, so be sure to scroll to the end of the article even if you don’t read the middle because you follow me on social media.

My Stubborn Episode 3 (Thai BL on iQIYI)
Thoughts –
1) They set some clear boundaries in this episode. They said they were friends with benefits. I wonder if they’ll keep them. I’m glad they talked it out for once.
2) I think Jun will realize pretty fast that there’s something special about Sorn if he’s given a chance to experiment.
Boys in Love Episode 3 (Thai BL on IQIYI)
Thoughts –
1) This series continues to make my Sundays better!
2) There were so many cute moments! These are my favorites.
3) Kim and Mon’s confession scene.
4) Tan lost the camera bag, and Nat promised to help find it.
5) Shane’s attempt at apologizing.
Monday, May 5
Mondays are becoming the saddest day of the week.
Tuesday, May 6
Mission to the Moon Episode 1 (Thai BL on KongThup YouTube channel)
PREMIERE
First thoughts –
1) This is a short-form series with episode 1 being 10 minutes long.
2) The plot is set up adequately.
3) The two main leads are introduced in entertaining ways.
4) I wish each episode were longer. Fast-track 3 episodes in one go by signing up.

My Golden Blood Episode 9 (Thai BL on iQIYI)
Thoughts –
1) This episode started with 🥰 and ended with 😭.
2) I’m really starting to think that Thara’s motives aren’t entirely good either.
3) What does the golden blood do when Thong turns 21? I need to know! Maybe it’s a gift enhancer?
Something’s Not Right Episodes 6 and 7 (Korean BL on Viki)
As promised, here are my thoughts on last week’s episode 6 to go along with episode 7.
Episode 6 Thoughts –
1) It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be, mainly because the main leads didn’t really interact a whole lot.
2) The ending was quite the cliffhanger. I’m glad I could watch the next one right away.
3) Yay, diaries!!
Episode 7 Thoughts –
1) I can’t believe Ba Woo concluded that Ji Hoon confessed out of pity. His self-destruction is driving me crazy.
2) Ji Hoon was so excited to realize Ba Woo felt the same and kissed him, only to have his hopes dashed. 😢
3) Something is very wrong with this relationship.
Mission to the Moon Episode 2 (Thai BL on YouTube)
Thoughts –
1) The fast track must be to see all of the episodes for the week on the first day. 🤔
2) A Halloween party is the perfect way to meet a man from a different era.
3) I think a ghost story radio host is actually an awesome gig for this show.
Thursday, May 8
Shows I’m not watching:
Never Fair (Korean BL on Sukfilm YouTube channel) There are 4 episodes total.
The Agreement of Cherry Blossom (Chinese short-length series) – It looks like it’s hard to find.
Top Form Episode 9 (Thai BL on Tencent)
Thoughts –
1) I liked Judy. She was everything a lead actress should be.
2) Kin will always be in tears alone until he can learn to share the burden. I hope he gets there.
3) Thank you for opening and closing the episode with sweetness. 😘💍
4) I have to give an extra shout-out to the NC scene this week. They did a great job of making me feel nothing but grief for both characters. 😭😭
5) I love the way the lighting changed and the way Smart and Boom built the different emotions.
Sweetheart Service Episode 1 (Korean BL on Strongberry YouTube channel)
PREMIERE
First thoughts-
1) I had expectations because it was Strongberry, and I was right. It had a satisfying beginning.
2) We’ve got the classic grumpy/sunshine vibe between the main leads.
3) The storyline is set up well.
4) I’ll keep watching!
Business as Usual Ep 6 (Korean BL on Viki and Gagaoolala)
FINALE
Final thoughts –
1) The ending is rushed.
2) I enjoyed the main leads’ chemistry. They communicated well as older adults and were clear with their intentions. It was refreshing.
3) Watch if you require some light entertainment.
Something’s Not Right Episode 8 (Korean BL on Viki)
FINALE
Final thoughts –
1) I WAS SCREAMING AT THE SCREEN ALMOST UNTIL THE END.
2) Ba Woo irritated me the most with the narrative he invented.
3) It’s got a solid story and acting. Just be prepared to be extremely frustrated.
Mission to the Moon Ep 3 (Thai BL on YouTube)
Thoughts-
1) And so they meet for the first time.
2) It was cute the way Mon fainted when the ghost vanished.
3) If it were me, I would assume I was still hammered.
Friday, May 9
Pit Babe Episode 2 (Thai BL on IQIYI)
Thoughts –
1) Jeff’s visions are useful, but the way he reacts to having them is heartbreaking.
2) I understand Charlie’s jealousy based on the information he has. I just wish he’d find out everything before jumping to conclusions.
3) Who is the pawn? Is it Willy?
Fight For You Episode 8 (Taiwanese BL on IQIYI, Gagaoolala, Viki)
Thoughts –
1) Xiao Bai is going to have to tell Da Hei his mission eventually, which will be devastating.
2) I’m way more invested in this series than I thought I’d be.
3) I hope that Da Hei finds a different way to make money in the end.
Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist Episode 7 (Thai BL on IQIYI)
Thoughts –
1) Jay’s story got interesting this episode. I wonder who Jeng is.
2) Also, I don’t think everyone would have found Jay following Sant to his hometown endearing, but it seems Sant did, and that’s all that matters.
3) I found it sweet that Captain stepped aside so easily. I think, at the end of it all, his friendship with Jay mattered more. Also, he wasn’t a sore loser.
Saturday, May 10
Shows I’m not watching:
Sashes and Hearts (Pinoy BL on YouTube)
Secret Ghost (No international release)
The Next Prince Episode 2 (Thai BL on IQIYI and YouTube)
Thoughts –
1) I’m pretty sure I agree with everyone that the train station scene is my favorite part of this episode. I was cracking up.
2) I like how this episode was just the journey for Khanin and Charan.
3) Yay, palace politics!
4) I also appreciated all the moments where the episode hinted at a haunted past for Charan. It was quite intriguing!
5) I loved that Charan kept giving Khanin secret looks with a small smile. It’s as though he’s not sure what to make of Khanin but kind of likes it.
The Bangkok Boy Episode 3 (Thai BL on Gagaoolala)
Thoughts –
1) This series continues to be one not for the faint of heart.
2) Sun’s and Peace’s first meeting was refreshingly simple, which I found endearing. They were just two people crossing each other’s paths.
3) I love the depth of this plot.
Next week is going to be epic! Five Thai BL series are dropping starting with “Eye Contact” on Wednesday, May 14. It seems to be a college series about a boy who is destined to run into three misfortunes. It looks comedic from the trailer. It’s set to air uncut on WeTV. Hopefully, it is released internationally with good subtitles.
Friday the 16th is intense. Three series are beginning.
First is “Knock Out”, a series about a boy in debt and the people who take him in. It is set around the world of boxing and seems like it will have both grit and heart. It is from a collaboration between Dee Hup House and WeTV, so it’s bound to be of good quality. It will air on WeTV, aka Tencent.
Next, we have “Loy Kaew First Love”, which will air on YouTube. It seems to be a simple story of forbidden love set in the countryside. It’ll be interesting to see how this one plays out. The scenery is pretty.
Finally, we have “My Sweetheart Jom”, the new production from Idol Factory and set to air on YouTube. It is about a wayward, troubled boy who is sent to the country to mend the error of his ways. There, he is to stay with the village chief. That is where the love story begins. Now, this could have some uncomfortable vibes for people because the preview hinted at a story that has an age gap for the characters, and it will be a love story between someone who is supposed to be a caretaker and their charge. So, we’ll see how it plays out.
On Saturday, May 17th, “Be Mine Be Yours” begins on Thai PBS. This may not have an international release or subtitles, but if it does, it will be interesting because it is a compilation of stories, and each story is set in a different part of Thailand.
