Today was a week full of memorable moments. We had our first-ever Period BL from GMMTV. Memoir of Rati has the potential to be a gem of a series. China is slaying with Revenged Love, and social media is in an uproar. Can you believe we are getting twenty-four full-length episodes? I haven’t seen the original, but I’ve heard good things.

There were so many episodes of currently airing shows that I didn’t have time to react to them all on social media. However, that doesn’t mean I’m not watching, so I’ll make two separate categories.

I had the opportunity to interview Patrick Liu on Friday, and I learned so much about Taiwanese queer media. It’s worth checking out, especially since it’s completely in English and almost an hour and a half long.

1) Armin’s drunk scene was adorable. He’s so cute for constantly calling Tada a kid.

3) My overall feeling: slightly irritated on Armin’s behalf because of his contract, but also melty from adorableness.

So, that’s a wrap. Thirty-three live-action BL series episodes dropped this week. It’s completely insane, but I’m living for it. What’s happening next?

On Friday, June 27, again (What is it with Fridays?), The Promise of the Soul will premiere. It is a Taiwanese BL that will be available on Gagaoolala and IQIYI. The premise seems to be about a misplaced soul. The preview was a bit hard to follow, but I always like a touch of magic in my shows, so fingers crossed.

On Saturday, June 28, Oxin Films is releasing the first episode of their new series Hermoso. It’s giving the classic naughty vibes of an Oxin Films series with fishing boats and drama. Check it out on their YouTube channel.
