Indeed, Tuesday was big this last week as well with “Revenged Love” ending, and both “Love Sea Japan” and “Rearrange” beginning. I think I will enjoy Rearrange, but the verdict is out for Love Sea. I will try a few episodes before making a final ruling.

I am trying to watch only what I enjoy, so if you find me dropping series, that is why. If you want more details, I do post them sometimes in my Patreon Discord Server. I’ve been thinking about it, and I want to try and promote myself better. I feel like I never think that I have anything worth offering, and so I don’t say anything. But people seem to find the Discord server useful. There, you will find new series announcements with links as I find them. You will also get a morning watchlist notification with everything that’s airing (that I’m aware of). I don’t post about shipping anywhere else but there. I also have longer reactions than what you’ll find on social media. I hope you can join me.

“Revamp” is coming, and with it, Episode 0 dropped today (which is Saturday). I can’t wait to watch it. You can find it on YouTube.

Also, there are so many shows airing that I find myself getting pickier and pickier. That being said, if someone tells me that I absolutely must watch something, I tend to cave, so let me know if you ever have a suggestion!

No Boundaries

1) My understanding of Natsuo is deepening. To have impulse control issues + no parental support meant he doesn’t quite know how to navigate social situations and boundaries.

2) Hiro’s need for revenge is also troubling.

3) I did love the hair-cutting scene. You could tell just how meaningful it was for Natsuo.

Wonderful Acting

1) The whole chair scene had me bawling. What amazing timing and reacting from Jimmy and Sea.

2) The enemies-to-lovers plot is going fantastically.

3) I love that the doctor is not only good at fixing bodies, but he can fix furniture, and maybe hearts, too.

Love Sea Japan Ep 1 ✴️PREMIERE (Japanese BL on Gagaoolala)

Broody Vibes

1) I remember yesterday in my live, someone mentioned that the setting was cold and windy. I agree. It created a very different vibe. It seemed darker and more dramatic just because of the setting.

2) Part of my problem with this one is that they picked a main character who reminds me a lot of Peat in features. It was hard not to compare the characterization, setting, etc.

3) I will try one more episode.

Cool Premise

1) The storyline for this series is so intriguing. I watched it yesterday, but I still remember it clearly.

2) I’m not sure how they will play with the timeline, but I can’t imagine the story having a happy ending since we saw the ending once in episode 1.

3) I was already crying. 😭😭

4) I found the ending with Win running up to Nut and declaring his feelings to a stranger absolutely charming and hilarious.

5) I am curious and will keep watching.

Next week’s lineup for premieres includes “The Luminous Begins”, a Thai BL behind a paywall on YouTube. The premiere date is August 20. The premise is centered around a magical cafe. The mission is to alleviate people’s sadness.

On Thursday, August 21, “Situationship in the City”, which is a Vietnamese BL on YouTube, begins. It looks like a fun romance, and the production quality of the preview is pretty high. I will be giving episode 1 a try.

Also, “Revamp” is set to premiere on Saturday, August 23. I have to admit, I am stupidly excited for this series. It is a vampire story. We’ll see how they do it.

I do have to say that Saturdays are shaping up to be a beautiful day for BL. There are so many excellent shows airing on that day. It’s going to be a treat for a while.
