There are twenty-five series currently airing that are accessible to international viewers, plus a variety of reel series, and I have chosen to watch thirteen of them. I guess that’s what happens when the BL flood begins.

This week was also the infamous GMMTV outing. If you are new to the world of Thai BL. GMMTV is one of the major production houses, and each year, they have a private company retreat. There is no formal live stream or anything, but everyone loves posting stuff on social media for the exposure. It is a social media feast and hilarious. The tags on X or totally worth checking out. Also, on Monday, we got a treat. YinWar released episode 1 of their reel series “ดอกนีออนรอรักxSupalai” ahead of tickets going on sale for their concert. There will be one episode a day for the rest of August, and you can find it at Argentis Official social media sites.

It seems reel series are on the rise. They aren’t my favorite, but they are super easy to consume.

1. Why was there no progress in Keishi’s and Tojo’s relationship?

2. It was cute how they all came together on the office project.

3. It felt like a filler episode, and then the preview was giving angsty vibes. 😭

1. 👀 I’m guessing Zefang’s red string goes to Riqing while Cha’s goes to HaiYuan.

2. I never saw the sibling card coming with Riqing and Haiyuan!

4. The last scene was beautiful, and had a beach. 🤭

1. The whole opening sequence was eye-opening. Who proposes to their brother’s fiancée when they’re off at war anyway?

Next week, two new series begin on Monday, the 25th. First, Kill to Love is a Chinese BL that is supposed to be on Gagaoolala and YouTube. It is a Wuxian drama with all of the bells and whistles. Hopefully, nothing changes, and it will get to air. There has been some drama and rumors about new legislation in China. I have not seen enough to substantiate any of it, so I’m willing to wait and see if episode one drops.

The second series, starting on Monday, is MuTe Luv: Hi By My Love, the first story in an anthology by GMMTV. It stars Sea and Keen, who also starred in a series titled Only Boo. If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s so cute. Anyway, this segment of the series is about two school rivals. It should be fun.

On Thursday, August 28, My Bias is Showing begins on Gagaoolala in select countries. The United States is not on the list, and I haven’t seen any word that it will be on other platforms. I guess we shall find out.

As far as I know, these are all of the new releases for the week.
