The best part of the Thai BL live-action series year is upon us, and that is the lineups for next year. So far, we know that WeTV’s lineup will be on November 4. Rumor has it that GMMTV’s lineup will be sometime during October. I swear that those moments make it feel like Christmas for a BL lover like me.

The saddest thing that happened last week was “My Magic Prophecy’s” ending. I loved that series so much, and I would highly recommend it.

2. The creative team did a fabulous job. It was seamless.

3. Binge this series on a weekend where you need to laugh, cry, and ultimately have your heart filled with love.

4. I could feel the healing in Thap’s conversation with his father and then with In’s parents.

5. Also, Thap’s ability to forgive Karn was captivating in its simplicity. They were friends.

6. The final interview at the end was so adorable

1. The narrated picture story at the start is a fun touch. The picture and storytelling are of high quality.

2. The goblin and his master’s story is an intriguing premise, with lore established early, so I wasn’t guessing.

3. I will keep watching.

Things that I liked

1. Dong-ha knows what he wants, and he’s willing to fight to get it.

2. Jee-won is starting to smile more. He seemed a bit lighter by the end.

2. Kosol and Prince are good for each other. They both bring something different to the table and make each other stronger.

1. The hunters feel a bit like a cult that indoctrinates you.

2. There is a Father Dracul… I hope he’s not the one who has been invading Punn’s dreams.

3. For Ramil and Punn, I feel like I was witness to the calm before the storm. ⛈️

Khemjira Episode 9 (Thai BL on IQIYI)

It hurts 😭

1. I loved Grandma Si, Tong, and Ake. I hate that Khem blamed himself.

2. Rampheung’s story is absolutely gut-wrenching. I felt physically ill for her, and I now understand all of her anger. I think Khem does, too.

3. I knew part of the story would have to be Khem’s journey on his own. What I hoped for was that he’d have developed some tools to take care of himself, which he didn’t.

Lover Merman Episode 2 (Thai BL on Gagaoolala and Viki)

Gentle Musings

1. Three things were established in this episode.

2. First, merpeople are secretive because they are persecuted.

3. Second, Phurit and Phraphai are hitting on Nava.

4. Third, Nava likes no one back.

The Wicked Game Episode 2 (Thai BL on IQIYI)

Self-control is key

1. Pheem: Pretty on the surface, but wicked underneath.

2. Than: Loving through and through

3. Dang, this show has a lot of drama.

4. Than’s level of self-control is impressive.

Next week, there are a couple of series to add to your list.

First, “The Cursed Love” begins on Wednesday, the 8th. It has heavy fantasy vibes and fun special effects. I’m sure it will be an entertaining ride. I think it’ll be on YouTube, but the platform is currently unclear. It’s also possible it won’t get an international release, though I hope that’s not the case.

Another series beginning next week is “Punks Triangle”, a Japanese BL that will air on Gagaoolala. It is a college-aged series about a fashion student and his model.
