Honestly I’m not really a big fan of ‘freaky friday’ stories. But I also said the same about dubai chocolate. And now I travel for an hour for a chocolate bar. So…

I thought what’s the harm in trying. And who better than MaxNat to introduce me to it.

This show is a sequel of the show ‘Y-Destiny’ but can be watched as a standalone show.

The Story

Sun, played by Max Kornthas and Nuea, played by Nat Natasit have started their relationship but their sex-life is not going well…because Sun can’t seem to get it up. After visits to doctors and multiple tests Suns’ friend gives him the idea to go a shaman. Sun goes to Thurs, who we have seen previously in ‘Y-Destiny’ who gives him a magic soap and tells himself to wash himself with the soap on a full moon night-which happens to be the same Sun gets the soap. Thirs also gives him a warning- ONLY SHOWER BY YOURSELF WHEN YOU’RE USING THE SOAP. As Sun drops the soap into the bath (is it a bathbomb or a soap?) and gets ready for shower Nuea appears and wants to join him. Sun doesn’t want him to join but doesn’t also explain clearly why because he never told Nuea he was getting treatment. But Nuea gets upset and Sun lets him join (Great. The only rule and you still didn’t follow that). As they relax in the bathtub we see the lights flickering etc (typical magical show stuff) and when they wake up they realize they have switched bodies. After the initial screams and confusion they go to Thurs to solve this problem, but he’s not there (of course). He is in his grandmas’ house and tells them he has found the scripture on the soap, but half of it is missing but the remaining scripture tells him that ‘they will switch back bodies when it is time’. And thus our couples’ journey in each others body begins!

The Acting

This is nobody’s first rodeo, but I also know about the acting skills of the BL industry, so I adjusted my expectations. Max and Nat deliver. Pee Peerawich too (if you’ve seen “Jack and Joker”). Earth Katsamonnat appears in the later episodes. So I would say the cast has some good ones. The first episode didn’t give me the cringe, but I’m preparing for it. I know it’s going to come.

The Chemistry

If you know MaxNat you wouldn’t worry about their chemistry. What I’m worried about is the second couple. I have never seen them before. So I don’t have any expectations from them. Hopefully there’s no fish kisses.

Direction

I don’t know how to explain this but if you’ve seen enough BLs you will recognise the pattern. The direction is what you would expect of a typical BL in 2025 – not too grand but not bad either. But the thing that annoys me is the sudden ‘funny’ background sounds and the sudden zooms to make a joke land. No that never lands. Instead, it just makes the scene awkward. But THIS IS Thai style of comedy and if it works for them who am I to judge.

Nue’s wardrobe

Yes. I made a section just for his wardrobe because its sooo good!! I have only seen him in three outfits so far, and he has rocked all of them. And the nails 😫 the nails AMAZING!!
