8 Thai BL Series with Main Leads Who Fall Hard

I love watching a pair fall hard, even when one (or both) of them isn’t ready to admit it yet. These Thai BLs feature lovers who wear their hearts on their sleeves, even as they may try to hide from their own feelings.

A Tale of Thousand Stars

Premise: After receiving a heart donation from Torun, a young man takes her place as a volunteer teacher in a remote village.

This show exchanges any hint of spice for the deepest yearning you’ve ever beheld. It’s a story about redemption, love, and longing. It’s a bit moody in places, but sweet and tender. If you like emotional stories, this one is for you.

Last Twilight

Premise: An ex-con starts working as a caregiver for a former athlete with severe vision loss.

This is a warm-hearted romance. These guys fall completely for each other, but in a way that feels natural over time. I liked the emotional depth of the leads and their mutual growth. It’s a good watch if you’re looking for something comforting and hopeful.

The Sign

Premise: A young man with premonitions keeps seeing his fellow trainee in his fantastical visions.

A fun supernatural action romance. When you’re constantly dreaming of another man, it’s natural to fall for the guy. This romance layers in crime and investigation, while a love story across lifetimes also unfolds.

We Are Series

Premise: A group of students navigate the hazards of school, life, and love in this slice-of-university story.

This is a playful show about a happy, hapless group of university boys figuring out life and love. I smiled a lot at their antics and playfulness. The lead couple are drawn together like moths to flame and are so fun to watch. There are multiple romances, so something for everyone to enjoy.

Khemjira The Series

Premise: Plagued by a family curse, a young man expects to die by his 21st birthday. He meets a shaman who gives him hope.

This show has a bit of everything…mystery, mythology, and romance. The chemistry being the main couple is undeniable, with their past lives weaving them back together. It’s a great watch for any fans of supernatural romance and I confess that it’s one of my all-time favorites.

The Heart Killers

Premise: A tattooist works as a spy for the police, gathering intel on a pair of brothers suspected of murder. He recruits a friend to help, but boundaries between cat and mouse quickly blur.

This show gifts you with two pairs of fools in love. Despite their best efforts, they can’t keep away from each other. It’s fun, full of action, and an old-school vibe. The pacing is sometimes strange, but the chemistry is fantastic. If you like steamy, action romances, this is a great watch!

Love Sea The Series

Premise: Tongrak is a romance writer who doesn’t believe in love. On a solo writing retreat, he beds Mahasamut, an islander with a bright personality.

A steamy BL if that’s your vibe! Despite his reluctance, Tongrak clearly entranced by the persisent Mahasamut. Tongrak’s niece stole the show in later episodes, and his family dynamics are interesting. I disliked the GL side romance but found it entertaining.

Pit Babe Series

Premise: An aspiring racer makes an unusual deal with the king of the track in exchange for access to a race car.

An omegaverse story that’s sexy and entertaining. The leads are each charming and completely crazy for each other. There’s a fair amount of intrigue as well, with much of the plot revolving around the trafficking of powered individuals. It might be confusing if you’re not familiar with the basics of omegaverse stories.
