What can you say about this series that has not already been said about a zillion other Thai BL series? Handsome actors, great ambience, fabulous clothes, imprecise story; which is too bad because the main actors can act, as they did bring some character intensity to their roles. The story however, went flat and pedestrian.

“55:15 Never Too Late” Series Review (Ep.1 to 16)
An overlooked series that has both brilliance and occasional ineptness. Through its sporadic ups and downs, I was mesmerized by its message, that is both clear and muddy at the same time.

“Quaranthings S2” Series Review (Ep.1 to 8)
This series is simply an abject failure. It abandoned all the charm and creativity of Season One and instead it was replaced with a banal and boring journey of childishness and self-centered indulgences.

“In Your Heart” Series Review (Ep.1 to 8)
This is an astonishing and brilliant exercise in cinematic adroitness that has been, unfortunately misunderstood and misinterpreted, but not necessarily incorrectly. Does that sound like an oxymoron? Perhaps.
“Rainbow Prince” Series Review (Ep.1 to 10)
I am going to come right out and say it: I LOVED THIS SERIES! It is pure escapism and entertained me despite all its cheesiness, tropes, and flat-affect acting. I did not care about any of that. What it did was to allow me for a moment to become a child again and muse. Additionally, whether realized or not, I think this series is ground-breaking for several very important reasons:

“Three Months” Movie Review
This is a coming-of-age movie. Classified as a romcom, it seemed more like a journey through painful adolescent and misfortunes.
“Love Area Part Two” Series Review (Ep.1 to 8)
This is nothing like Love Area 1. This is also NOT a continuation of Season one even though it was supposed to be.

“Love At The End of The World” Series Review (Ep.1 to 9)
“From the day we arrive on the planet
And, blinking, step into the sun
There’s more to see than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done
There’s far too much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love
‘Til we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the circle
The circle of life”
(Excerpts from The Circle of Life from The Lion King)

“You Are My Sunshine- 2021” (2 Episodes) and “You Are My Stupid Boy- 2022” (3 Episodes) Series Review
Honestly, it is hard for me to be objective about Vietnamese BL’s. There is something so organic and raw about them that they have become incredibly endearing to me. And these two short series live up to that standard as well. It is simply a joy to watch and experience. It is obviously a low-budget production with some sound and technical issues; but what it lacks in quality, it makes up for it with intense efforts on the part of the actors and actresses. It is truly and honestly a labor of love. You can see their complete commitment to this series.
