“Love Area Season One” Series Review (Ep.1 to 6)

I am a bit surprised at myself for liking this drama so much. Variations of this theme have been done previously, with some having limited efficaciousness. But this one really works. While seemingly contrived in the beginning, it settles down quickly into a solid story of self-discovery and coming to the realization that your actions do affect others.

“Mr. Cinderella” Series Review (Ep.1 to 8)

This series utterly confounded me. I did not understand it – initially. The story was choppy, incoherent at times, and made little sense to my western-oriented mind. Frankly, I did not understand the fairy-tale related title and what it had to do with the series. Humbly, I want to explain my bewilderment of this series from two vastly different perspectives.

“Beef, Cupcake & Him” Movie Review

This short movie is simply astonishing. It starts out as another gourmet themed BL series which seems to be the latest trend in Boys’ Love as opposed to college settings. “Y Destiny” Series Review (Ep.1 to 15)

“Single All the Way” Movie Review

Be careful when you watch this Christmas-themed movie. It could land you into a diabetic coma from its sweetness and cuteness. Please do not misunderstand me. It is not a bad movie; it just is not my cup of tea, so to speak. Sure, it may make you feel good and perhaps even smile, but its own reality is a true fantasy.

“Jack & Jill” Series Review (Ep.1 to 8)

This is a surprisingly good series. A bit too short, however. It does not pretend to be anything than what you see. This is no masterpiece, but it gets to a story quickly with some excellent dialogues and exchanges. The acting, sorry to say, is a bit amateurish in parts and has no real depth in the beginning. But towards the end, the two main protagonists become believable and effective.

“HIStory3: Make Our Days Count” Series Review (Ep.1 to 20)

“If you missed the train I’m on, you will know that I am gone. You can hear the whistle blow a hundred miles. A hundred miles, a hundred miles. A hundred miles. You can hear the whistle blow a hundred miles.”
