After eleven weeks, 609 Bedtime Story has come to an end. Billed as the first Choose-your-ending BL, this supernatural romance directed by Tanwarin Sukkhapisit stars BL Royalty Ohm Thitiwat and Fluke Natouch as Dew and Mum, who cross parallel worlds to be with one another. Sukkhapisit is no stranger to supernatural dramas, and as a master storyteller, I went into this series with extremely high expectations and wasn’t disappointed.

Mum is a playboy bar owner who sleeps with any girl who will open their legs for him, and being as beautiful as he is, let’s say he’s not hurting for midnight lovers. One night, after falling asleep in his apartment, he wakes up in the bed of a man named Dew. Same apartment, just a different universe. The two hit it off and have sex – wild, passionate, and beautiful sex. Then, Dew is murdered in front of Mum’s eyes by a mysterious man in a motorcycle helmet.

Mum wakes up shaken and confused but figures it’s only a dream, but the next night he meets Dew again, and he continues to meet him. Little by little, he discovers that Dew’s are moving backward while his days are moving forward, so he tries his best to keep getting murdered.

Produced by All This entertainment, the company behind the GMMTV drama The Eclipse (which Sukkhapisit also directed), 609 Bedtime Story was well-written and incredibly sexy, with just the right amount of mystery and suspense. If you’re a fan of OhmFluke, there were also several easter-egg references to some of their other series, including Until We Meet Again, which launched their ship and sailed them straight into our hearts, as well as international super-stardom. The incredible cast also included Amy Thason (School Tales), Kenji Wasin (Lovely Writer), Plustor Pronpiphat (Med Love: The Series), and introduced us to Potae Watcharayu, a man with the 1000-watt smile in his first series.

The music, including the OST was also incredible.

It was fresh and fun and well worth the watch. My only gripe with the series is that it wasn’t long enough, not in minutes or episodes. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye yet. I wanted more.
