“My Stand-In” Fresh Stills Released

YYDS Entertainment’s upcoming collaboration “My Stand-In” has released new stills, as IQIYI updates its roster announcing possible premiere soon.

Adapted from Shui Qian Cheng’s popular Chinese Danmei novel ‘Professional Body Double’, the show stars Up Poompat (Lovely Writer) and Poom Phuripan (Bake Me Please) as Zhou Xiang and Ming Xiu. The story portrays the relationship between two men over two lifetimes. “My Stand In” is adapted from one of the ‘188’ Novels titled ‘Professional Body Double’ by Shui Qian Cheng. “188” are a series of popular Chinese Danmei novels that centre around exceptionally tall men. The series currently has 30+ works. YYDS Entertainment and IQIYI have been consistently updating new stills from the show. Supporting cast involves Porsche Tanathorn (You’re My Sky), Mek Jirakit (Star and Sky: Sky in Your Heart, The Player, Red Peafowl) and Inntouch Naphat (My Engineer The Series).

Synopsis-

Joe, the stunt man of famous actor Tong, happened to meet Ming. Having developed a deep relationship, Joe didn’t realise that Ming had always seen him as Tong’s replacement. When the truth is revealed, Joe has to take work on a foreign set where an accident takes his life. When he wakes, Joe’s in the body of a young man named Joe who’d met with an accident on the same day. With help, he’s soon living the same life as he was before—with the same people—and he meets Ming once more. In this life, Ming wants Joe back at his side as before and Joe doesn’t know why. Ming, who’s kept all memories of the old Joe, tries to find the truth about Joe’s continued life in order to return Joe to his side and give him the explanation he never had the chance to.
