“Love is Real” Series Review (Ep.1 to 59)
As opposed to the prequel, which failed to bank on the main lead’s popularity as an established couple, I liked this show slightly better!!
“Fan Service” Series Review (Ep.1 to 6)
“Fan Service” doesn’t offer much more than what we can expect from a short miniseries. What got me invested in this show wasn’t the storyline, but the casting. If you are a fan of the Korean dating reality show “His Man”, then you might recognize the protagonists. The show stars Kim Chan Kyu alongside Kim Chang Min as main leads. Both were participants in the first season of “His Man.” From what I remember, they barely had any interaction on the show. So, I was intrigued by what kind of chemistry these two “His Man” contestants would bring to the show. Thankfully, they didn’t disappoint!!
“Isekai Office Worker: The Other World’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter” Series Review (Ep.4 to 12)
Adapted from the Japanese light novel series “Isekai no Sata wa Shachiku Shidai” written by Yatsuki Wakatsu and illustrated by Kikka Ohashi, the anime lends its voice to a workaholic corporate slave, who unknowingly gets drawn into a mystical land. We have heard and talked about “The Other World” but no amount of lucid description can describe the ridiculous and unbelievable happenings in this other world that the main protagonist, Seiichirou Kondou, stumbles into. The anime is a pun intended on the habitual workings of a corporate slave, no matter where they are. At times hapless, other times stubborn, Seiichirou Kondou is a force to be reckoned with, no matter where he is.
