Another hectic week with announcements dropping like hot potatoes. We did try to catch them for you!

First Note Of Love

Charles Tu (HIStory 4) and Michael Chang (My Tooth Your Love) will be starring in an upcoming Taiwanese BL. The story follows Neil, a singer-songwriter who has recently returned to Taiwan. Both talented and charming, he has everything he needs to become a professional singer, except one thing––the nerves to step onto a big stage. In an effort to get over his stage fright, Neil decides to start as a street performer to eventually work his way up. Hai is a loyal but timid fan of Neil’s. One late night, after seeing Neil’s performance, Hai gets on the last bus of the day and is surprised to see Neil get on, too. The bus brakes suddenly, and Hai finds himself in Neil’s arms. When Neil gets off the bus, Hai sees his guitar pick on the floor. And so, Hai and Neil’s lives cross paths as they begin to compose a musical movement of love.

Deep Night

Khemthis is the beloved son of Madame Freya, the owner of Deep Night Club, the top host club in the country. It’s stunning acrobatic shows differentiate them from any other. Khemthis is fascinated by top-tier host Wela. Getting closer, however, brings about obstacles. They aren’t the only ones bringing colour to the club. They’re joined by Seiji, Ken, Great, DJ James and sunny waiter Japan. Watch Uncut on IQIYI starting March 7th 2024.

Oxin Films 2024 Lineup

Phillipines based production house ‘Oxin Films’ announced their 2024 lineup this week. Last year The company gained popularity after releasing the series ‘My Story’ and then a follow up sequel titled ‘Our Story’. The lineup consists of three BL/GL series namely ‘Bashers’, ‘Sky Valley’ and ‘Sashes and Hearts’. No synopsis has been released for any of the shows yet but you’re guaranteed to see your favourite actors from Oxin Films in this lineup. Stay tuned for more information.

Impression.Youth

Get ready for a Student-Teacher romance in this upcoming Taiwanese BL drama starring Jian Zhenting, Xu Moujun, Wen Weideng, and Zhu Yumou. The production company is yet to release additional details regarding the premise of the series but we do know that it’s set to start filming in April. Watch this space for further updates.

Single, Out – Season 2

The Australian series starring Will Hutchins is back for a second season. Following Adam’s first sexual experience, his life is changed forever. Whilst juggling his job, a passion for art and new relationships he learns to come to terms with leaving the closeted single life. Being single was easy. Being out is hard.

BBQ Boy – (Allergic To Shrimp)

An upcoming Thai BL series from Studio 19. A Rom-Com that follows two close friends Seua (Tiger) and Kung (Shrimp), set against the backdrop of a hotpot restaurant.

Blossom Campus

Kim Min-Jae, a transfer student majoring in Practical Music and working part-time at the library meets Yoonchan, a Taekwondo major. Since their first meeting, the two become entagled, leading them to develop a romantic relationship. This series is a Matchbox x Strongberry original and it premieres in March 2024.

Eye Contact

An upcoming college romance series portraying the relationship between Nu, the heir to an affluent family and Sun, a mischievous & promiscuous guy. When the two meet, many complications arise but the words “true love” leads them to overcome.

Please Teach Me

Teasers have been posted from the Korean BL drama ‘Please Teach Me’. The project is a compilation of 50 BL shorts which are 1 minute in length each. The pictures feature some actors we’ve seen in other BL series including Park Hyeong Seop from ‘Jun And Jun’ and Lee Sang Min from ‘Why RU?’

GMMTV actor under fire for physical abuse

GMMTV actor Pawin ‘Win’ Thanik who is set to star in ‘We Are Series’ is being accused by his supposed ex- girlfriend of physical abuse. The girl posted pictures while she was receiving treatment in the hospital and is quoted saying she was choked, hit on her head, slammed against the floor. Now she feels dizzy & faint.

Bad Guy My Boss

Pat, an assistant is secretly in love with his boss Eris. Watching Eris with his multitude of partners has become difficult for Pat so he decides to resign. That’s when Eris decides to make his feelings known. The main actors for the series have finally been revealed, see below:

Meet You At The Blossom

A collaboration between China, Thailand and Taiwan. The story portrays Huai-En, he finds warmth with Jin Xiaobao, defying his cold demeanor. While Jin, despite his jovial nature, faces repeated marriage failures. Their unexpected intimacy unfolds. Adapted from the novel ‘#花開有時頹靡無聲’ by Shui Qian Cheng. Shui Qian Cheng currently has another BL novel in production in Thailand titled ‘My Stand In’ which is expected to be released very soon.

Likay

The drama portrays two men who are hired to star in a Likay (Thai theatrical play). On stage the two get along really well but behind the scenes the two can’t stand each other. The series stars Intouch Kooramasuwan and Leng Teerachot and will be released later this year.
