Adapted from the novel “Hua Kai You Shi, Tui Mi Wu Sheng” (花开有时, 颓靡无声) by Shui Qian Cheng (水千丞), individual character posters for main leads, Zongzhen Huai‘en & Jin Xiaobao played by actors, Le Leslie & Yunkai Wang were released. The adaptation is an ambitious Chinese-Taiwanese collaboration and is being directed by renowned Taiwanese director, Nancy Chen (“5 Lessons in Happiness: Throuple”, “HIStory4: Close to You” & “HIStory5: Love in the Future”). The supporting cast involves Li Jun Liang, Kou Wei Long, Li Yi Mu, Achi Sukonlaphat, Jing Feng, Ni Song Yang & Du Le.

Synopsis-

With You I Bloom

Adapted from the manga “Shinsengumi” (新選組) by Tezuka Osamu (手塚治虫), “With You I Bloom” stars Maeda Kentaro (“I Cannot Reach You”) & Oku Tomoya (“Minato’s Laundromat”) alongside Kan Hideyoshi (“Although I Love You and You”). An ambitious collaboration between T0ei & TV Asahi, the show has already being renewed for two more seasons, stretching over six months. Apart from the already announced cast, 4 new members have been added and 5 more will be joining the ensemble. Season One is set to premiere on 24th April, 2024.

Synopsis-

`Shinsengumi” is a story about the fictional young Shinsengumi soldiers Fukakusa Kyujuro and Kamagiri Daisaku. After his father is killed, Okajuro joins the Shinsengumi to improve his sword skills and avenge his death. At the entrance exam, I met Daisaku, a promising newcomer with excellent sword skills. Although the two develop a passionate friendship, they are at the mercy of the times and are destined to have to kill each other.

Hanyang Studio’s upcoming Thai- Korean collaboration “Love Is like a Cat” is set to premiere on Gagaoolala, starting April 1, 2024. The show stars Mew Suppasit (TharnType The Series) & JM (JUST B) in lead roles, alongside Geonu and Kim Kyoung Seok.

Synopsis-

When global superstar Piuno is threatened by those who wish to see him brought low, there’s only one thing he can do to save his reputation and his career: work at a pet daycare. Pushing aside his severe dislike for animals, Piuno begins working alongside the daycare’s director, Dae Byeol, who helps him find ways to overcome the trauma that first inspired his hatred of animals. As his heart begins to soften, unexpected feelings for Dae Byeol begin to arise. Could their current working relationship grow into something more?

Kidnap Series

Ohm Pawat’s upcoming Thai BL “Kidnap Series” alongside rookie actor Leng Thanapon is in pre-production stage. Script reading and fittings have begun. Both actors seem to share a jovial camaraderie from the pictures and videos uploaded on the social media accounts. The filming is mostly likely to begin in April.

Synopsis-

In need of money for his brother’s medication, Min takes work as a kidnapper. When his employer asks him to kill the rich young man he’s kidnapped, Min cannot bring himself to pull the trigger. Instead, he tells them the job’s complete and takes him home to hide him away.

Heartbreak High Season Two

Following the global success of Heartbreak High Season 1, resulting in an International Emmy award, “Heartbreak High Season 2” will premiere on Netflix, April 11, 2024.

There are some fresh faces being introduced this term. Angus Sampson (Furiosa, The Lincoln Lawyer, Fargo) joins the teaching staff as the Head of P.E. Timothy Voss is an uber-masculine sports teacher set to put an end to the bleeding hearts of Hartley High. Rachel House and Chika Ikogwe return as Woodsy and Jojo, the dedicated staff of Heartbreak High. Sam Rechner will play Rowan Callaghan, an unassuming country boy with a dry wit and a passion for classic cinema who finds himself thrown headfirst into the chaos of Hartley High and a truly epic love triangle, and Kartanya Maynard is Zoe Clarke, an opinionated celibacy advocate who, along with her gang of Puriteens, threatens to bring down the SLT class from within.

Ayesha Madon, Chloé Hayden, Thomas Weatherall, James Majoos, Asher Yasbincek, Will McDonald, Gemma Chua-Tran, Bryn Chapman Parish, Sherry-Lee Watson, Brodie Townsend and Josh Heuston will be returning to reprise their roles.

Synopsis-

All our heroes are back for Term Two at the “lowest ranking school in the district.” But fresh hotties, a new sports teacher and a mystery assailant, throw any hopes for a peaceful term into disarray, while the race for school captain is seeing dirty tactics run rife through Hartley High. Boys Be Brave!

Page One Film have released the official poster for the supporting couple, Ahn Se Min (Ji In Ho) and Jung Yeo Joon (Chae Balg Eum) for the upcoming Korean BL, “Boys Be Brave”. Adapted from the webtoon “Can’t Confess” (고백을 못하고) by Seok Young (석영), the show stars Kim Sung Hyun (Kim Jin Woo) and Nam Shi An (Jung Ki Sub) in lead roles. The cast recently had their script reading session and filming will begin soon.

Synopsis-

Jung Ki Sub is Kim Jin Woo’s slacker friend – and secret crush. So when Ki Sub asks to crash at his place, his heart tingles to be near him everyday. But as the short stay turns into permanent mooch, how long can Jin Woo keep his true feelings under wraps and hold back from confessing?

Gray Shelter

Official poster released for the upcoming Korean BL “Gray Shelter”. Starring Lee Jae Bin (“Choco Milk Shake”) & Jang Woo Young in the lead roles, the show is set to premiere on 11th April, 2024.

Synopsis-

Cha Soo Hyuk is focused only on his survival, without any grand goals. He reunites with Lee Yoon Dae, who he was very close with. Yoon Dae was living with his girlfriend but now has nowhere to go. They end up living together.

Whisper Me a Love Song

Adapted from the manga series of the same name produced by Yokohama Animation Laboratory and CLOUDHEARTS, the upcoming Japanese GL “Whisper Me a Love Song (ささやくように恋を唄う, Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau)” is set to premiere in 13th April 2024.

Synopsis-

Yori Asanagi is a mature girl in many ways but is still pure when it comes to romance. That sentiment is proven when an underclassman, Himari Kino, suddenly confesses love to her after her band performance at the freshman opening ceremony.

Confused and surprised, Yori asks her friends for consultation, but they tease her by saying that she is experiencing love. Yori soon makes up her mind and tries to return Himari’s feelings, but in a twist of events, she realizes that what Himari loved was not her, but her music!

As Yori continues to pursue her love for Himari, she promises to make Himari fall for her. However, will this passionate love bloom or remain unrequited?
