Perfect Blend of Love, Respect, and Emotions.
Sypnosis: Having never had sex in his life, after Kiyoshi Adachi reaches his 30th birthday he becomes a “wizard”: he develops an ability to hear the thoughts of other people by touching them. One day, he discovers that his popular co-worker, Yuichi Kurosawa, is in love with him. While dealing with the awkwardness of being able to hear Kurosawa’s rather forthright feelings towards him, Adachi comes to terms with how much Kurosawa values him and starts to develop reciprocal feelings of his own.
“Cherry Magic” manga has such huge fan following, so after the live version of the show, when the anime version was announced, I was really excited because the story is really sweet, gentle, and depicts healthy relationships. This beautiful office romance has the capability of enticing anyone, with Kurosawa as the most non-toxic, endearing, and supporting partner anyone can ever have and Adaichi as adorable and messy as ever. Adaichi represents at least half of us, which makes his character realistic and relatable. The second romance between, Adaichi’s best friend and writer, Tsuge and Minato, a delivery boy and Tsuge’s crush and later boyfriend is just as intriguing as the mains. A combination of Kurosawa’s sweet and mature personality and Adaichi’s timid but hardworking nature makes the relationship between them genuine and captivating. Their slow budding romance was depicted realistically; it was praiseworthy of them to show intimate aspects of their relationship, for us to get a deeper insight into the physical and emotional aspects of both.

The anime managed to showcase the story in limited time and episodes, though I would have been happier if we had gotten more episodes. Nevertheless, I still appreciate the effort that went in creating the anime version, adding catchy music, because after watching the first three episodes, I searched for the songs because there were so appealing and melodious. The other good thing about the anime was, (and I have said this before also), was the commendable work done by the voice actors; the most important responsibility to make an anime come to life belongs to the voice actor. I am really satisfied with the voice actor’s work; Ryota Suzuki (Kurosawa), Chiaki Kobayashi (Adachi), Makato Furukawa (Tsuge) and Gen Sato (Minato) were the suitable choice for their characters.

Overall, the anime is lovable and the characters are really precious. The art is beautiful and has a really adorable chibi version of them.
