It’s safe to say that bingeing brilliant series has become one of our favourite pastimes over the last few years, and our TV drama obsession will not be slowing down any time soon. Luckily for us, it doesn’t have to as a whole host of brand new must-watch TV shows keep arriving by the week.

Gui Zhao

Youku has announced the production of a new double male lead youth drama starring Zhang Kang Le and Mark Ma. It will have 16 episodes and is expected to air later on this year. The story is set in Xiqiao Village, the once prosperous He family only has one son left. The obedient and introverted academic He JiaHao carries the hope of the family, but he harbors a secret. Eight years later, someone he has long felt guilty about and wants to make amends with reappears.

The Love Matter

Phadej Onlahung, the director of ‘Dear Doctor I’m Coming For Soul’ and ‘OMG Vampire’ has partnered with The Rich YU Group to produce a new BL drama. The story portrays the members of the swim team and track team, more specifically a love triangle that forms when two friends compete for the same guy, a handsome nurse. The production team is currently casting.

City Boy Log

After receiving 1 000 000 views on their vlog, the makers of ‘City Boy Log’ released a video commemorating the event that highlights volume one and two of the vlog. Volume three is expected to release this month with new city boys joining Lee Ji Han and Lee Jae Jun. The boys promise the new instalment will have a continuous release and will have more exciting content as compared to the other volumes.

Blue Boy

Seok Films has released a teaser trailer for their upcoming KBL web drama “Blue Boy”, previously called ‘The Guy Inside Me’. The story follows Jaemin, who is exhausted from job hunting. He suddenly finds himself experiencing new emotions after a chance encounter with Nami, an old high school friend. However, misunderstandings about Nami’s job lead to a conflict between the two. This drama navigates the journey of discovering true love and understanding.
