After successfully helming the buzzworthy adaptation “Pit Babe The Series”, Change 2561 have decided to dip their toes in the flourishing BL industry. At the press meet held yesterday, the production house unveiled their upcoming projects which involves 4 BL shows coupled with 1 GL drama. Banking on the sumptuous success of “Pit Babe”, Change 2561 has meticulously planned projects that star fan-favorite pairings from the show. Without further ado, let’s check out the latest updates!

This Love Doesn’t Have Long Beans

This show has been in news for quite sometime, so all they did was release an official poster and a pilot trailer. Featuring the secondary couple from “Pit Babe Series”, Sailub Hemmawich & Pon Thanapon, the show is a gourmet romance between a grumpy chef and a model. Adapted from the web novel “No Beans and Love Me More” (รักนี้ไม่มีถั่วฝักยาว) by Ninepinta (นายพินต้า), the show also stars Garfield Pantach & Benz Atthanin as the secondary couple alongside Michael Kiettisak, Lee Asre & Tiger Tanawat.

Synopsis-

Model Plawan has been a pad kaprao—no long beans—enthusiast all his life. Offered a hefty sum, he’s hired to train at a well-known chef’s table restaurant under head chef Chef Oab. His secret mission is to make Chef Oab fall for him and and to become his successor. Unfortunately, he’s shaken by the harsh and stern-looking chef who smells like holy basil. Apart from being known for his skills in the kitchen, he’s also said to be a serious perfectionist, instilling fear even in his peers. How, then, can amateur Plawan hope to measure up?

This announcement was actually a pleasant surprise; I wasn’t expecting Change 2561 to bankroll a GL production. Adapted from the novel “Affair” (AFFAIR : รักเล่นกล) by Chao Planoy (เจ้าปลาน้อย), the show stars Sonya Saranphat & Lookmhee Punyapat in the lead roles, Siangphleng & Wanwiwa.

Synopsis-

The story talks about Pleng, a rich girl who has the perfect life. She lived and grew up together with Wan Viva, her best friend and the maid’s daughter. It turns out that after his family goes bankrupt, Pleng ends up losing everything. And when she meets Wan Viva, now a doctor, she realizes that their situation has completely changed.

“Pit Babe” stars Pavel Naret & Pooh Krittin return to the silver screen with their new upcoming adaptation, “Goddess Bless You From Death”. Adapted from the novel “Goddess Bless You From Death” (สิงสาลาตาย) by MTRD.S, Pavel & Pooh star in this murder mystery as the main leads, Singha & Thup. Michael Kiettisak is paired opposite TopTen Supakorn as the secondary couple, Say & Darin.

Synopsis-

“I really didn’t do it. It wasn’t my handiwork…it was the handiwork of a ghost.”

Just this one sentence causes a young boy with special senses like ‘Thup’ to become involved in the investigation of a mysterious murder case with Inspector ‘Singha’ who is so attached to cause and effect that he doesn’t believe in mysteries. Pit Babe Season Two

Lastly, the second season for “Pit Babe The Series” was announced with much fanfare. Pavel Naret & Pooh Krittin will be returning to reprise their roles, Babe & Charlie, alongside secondary couples, Sailub Hemmawich (Alan)- Pon Thanapon (Jeff), Michael Kiettisak (North)- TopTen Supakorn (Sonic). Garfield Pantach (Kenta), Lee Asre (Dean) and Pop Pataraphol (Winner) will be returning to reprise their antagonistic side. Supposedly dead in the prequel, Nut Supanut (Way) and S Vorarit Vaijairanai (Tony) will also be returning in Season Two.
