Rose Studio dropped the official pilot for their upcoming adaptation “Bad Guy My Boss” and it is nothing short of a sensual treat. A playful romance between a casanova boss & his loyal secretary, the plot seems quite similar to the popular Korean romcom “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim”. Synopsis-

Aware that it is not appropriate for an employee to fall in love with his own boss, “Patt,” a personal assistant to an austere, mixed-race businessman, “Ares,” therefore tries to restrain his emotions and maintain their relationship on a boss-employee basis. However, Patt’s effort is constantly challenged by Ares’s persistent attempt in making him his “one and only” sweetheart. Nut Supanat’s upcoming show was recently embroiled in controversy, whereby a banned hashtag on X started making waves citing changes in the script which were invariably different from the original storyline in the webtoon. Adapted from the webtoon “Chan Ni Lae Than Khun Thi Suai Thi Sut Nai Siam” (ฉันนี่แหละท่านขุนที่สวยที่สุดในสยาม) by Yuen Kin Pakka Thi Than Phra (ยืนกินปากกาที่ท่าพระ), the show stars Nut opposite Ping Orbnithi (Kosol), Lee Asre (Jet) and Pop Pataraphol (Atom). Promotions are in full swing for the upcoming Chinese BL adaptation, “Meet You at the Blossom”. Adapted from the novel “Hua Kai You Shi, Tui Mi Wu Sheng” (花开有时, 颓靡无声) by Shui Qian Cheng (水千丞), the show stars Le Leslie & Yunkai Wang in lead roles. The adaptation is an ambitious Chinese-Taiwanese collaboration and is being directed by renowned Taiwanese director, Nancy Chen (“5 Lessons in Happiness: Throuple”, “HIStory4: Close to You” & “HIStory5: Love in the Future”). The supporting cast involves Li Jun Liang, Kou Wei Long, Li Yi Mu, Achi Sukonlaphat, Jing Feng, Ni Song Yang & Du Le. The show consists of 12 episodes, each of 40 minutes.

The Time of Fever

We still have no confirmation relative to the international premiere of “The Time of Fever”, movie spin-off of the 2023 hit “Unintenional Love Story”. The movie is set to premiere on May 15 on CGV. Actors Won Tae Min and Do Woo will be reprising their roles. The movie follows the romance between Donghee and Hotae during their high school-days.

Synopsis-

Ho Tae and Dong Hee have grown up like brothers since childhood. A few years ago, Ho Tae, who had moved to Seoul, returned to Gangneung after his father’s funeral. Meanwhile, Dong Hee, who had come out and was kicked out of his home, began living alone in Ho Tae’s empty house. Reuniting after a long time, the two start living together under one roof. Despite their close brotherly bond, Dong Hee can’t help but feel excited seeing Ho Tae, his first love, again. Dong Hee tries to suppress his feelings, but it’s not easy. Meeting Dong Hee after a long time, Ho Tae also starts experiencing emotions he has never felt before. In an effort to escape his confusing feelings, Ho Tae starts dating girls recklessly. Witnessing Ho Tae like this hurts Dong Hee, and after an unexpected incident, the delicate relationship between the two starts to gradually shift.

From the same production house as “Kiseki Dear To Me”, Brains Entertainment Production, in partnership with Shinehouse Theatre, is co-producing ‘See Your Love’, a project which is being funded by Taiwan’s BIGART and Japanese streaming platforms Video Market and Rakuten TV. The show stars Lin Yu and Jin Yun (Kim Yun) in the lead roles, Zi Xiong and Shao Peng, alongside Lin Chia Yo (Be Loved in House: I Do), and Lin Yong Jie. It should be noted that Director Chiang Ping Chen’s childhood experiences with his deaf uncle have inspired the drama, imparting the belief that love remains steadfast despite the loss of hearing.

Synopsis-

Zi Xiong, a third-generation heir, attempting to flee from taking over their family business, meets and falls in love with Shao Peng, who works as a hearing-impaired nurse.

“Love Mechanics” couple Yin & War return to silver screen with their upcoming romcom “Jack And Joker”. The actors recently had their script reading session and filming begins on 14th May. Yin Anan Wong, War Wanarat, Bonz Nadol and Prom Ratchapat play a notorious gang of thieves who operate under the name ‘Joker’ who attempt to rob a casino run by Mark Siwat but unfortunately, they are outnumbered by his security detail.

Flavor of Us

Y Zilla releases an extended official pilot for their upcoming adaptation, “Flavor of Us” as the cast & crew held a blessing ceremony; the filming begins soon. Starring PeiPei Krit, Rang Jirakith in lead roles alongside Benjamin Brasier, Jirakith Hongthong, Dome Woranart, and Marwin Akkaradanai.
