We have the first teaser for the upcoming Korean gay dating reality show, “His Man 3”. Streaming on Wavve & IQIYI from 21st June, at 10 a.m.

Sugar Dog Life

TV Asahi in collaboration with ABC have announced their new project “Sugar Dog Life”. Adapted from the manga “Sugar Dog Life” (シュガードッグライフ) by Yoriko (依子), the show stars Tanaka Koki & Tawada Hideya in lead roles. The official & character posters alongside the first teaser were released accompanying the announcement. Set to premiere on 3rd August, 2024.

Synopsis-

Isumi Sakuraba (Koki Tanaka) is a university student with a baby face and short stature. His speciality is cooking. Due to his baby face, he is mistaken for a minor and almost taken to jail by Police Officer Kyosuke Amasawa (Hideya Tawada). Isumi Sakuraba shows his ID to him to prove his age and clear up the misunderstanding. Later, Isumi Sakuraba meets Police Officer Kyosuke Amasawa again in front of the convenience store where he works as a part-timer. Kyosuke Amasawa becomes a regular at the convenience store. Whenever he sees Isumi Sakuraba at the store, he asks for recommendations on what to eat for a midnight snack. They become familiar with each other. One day, Isumi Sakuraba begins to worry about Kyosuke Amasawa’s eating habits and blurts out “Shall I go to your home and make you some food?”

Bilibili & Sugarman Media’s live action adaptation of animation “Link Click”, starring Jiang Long, Bi Wenjun, and Bu Guanjin, releases official poster and trailer ahead of June 19 premiere on Bilibili. The first two seasons of the anime were hugely popular because of the subtle bromance between the male leads and fans are anticipating similar chemistry in the live-action as well.

Synopsis-

It tells the story of a small shop called “Time Photo Studio” in a corner of the bustling city. Cheng Shishi, Lu Guang, and Qiao Ling work together to accept the commission, use special abilities to enter photos, help people find the truth and make up for regrets, and a cross-time and space game using photos as a medium begins.

Marahuyo Project

Anima Studios Ph announce their new show, “Marahuyo Project”. Directed by JP Habac (GayaSaPelikula), the show stars Adrian Lindayag (The Boy Foretold by the Stars & Love Beneath the Stars) and Neo France Garcia in lead roles alongside supporting couple Noor Hooshmand & Yani Villarosa, AJ Sison & Ian Villa. Premieres this June 24.

Red, White and Royal Blue Sequel

Author Casey McQuiston is reportedly working on the script of the “Red, White and Royal Blue 2”. Adapted from her popular novel of the same name, the prequel was a huge hit which led to catcalls for a sequel. As such, Amazon Prime recently announced that a sequel was in work, with main leads Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez reprising their roles as Prince Henry & Alex Claremont-Diaz. Matthew Lopez will be returning to direct the sequel with Casey acting as the screenwriter.

Happy Ending Series

Studio on Saturn releases a fresh poster and official pilot for their upcoming thriller “Happy Ending Series”. Set to premiere on 15th June. Starring Jeff Satur, Barcode Tinnasit in the lead roles as Damon & Anawain alongside Mike Angelo, and Jorin (4EVE).

Synopsis-

Anti-fan Anawain comes face-to-face with Damon, the antagonist of the web novel “Finn & Damon.”

Oxin Films in collaboration with Calton Studios releases official poster for their upcoming Pinoy BL “Sky Valley. Starring Tim Tuppil, James Lucero, AngelGrace Ameeica & Lienel Navidad. Set to premiere on July 20, 2024.

Takara’s Treasure

Fresh stills released as the upcoming adaptation “Takara’s Treasure” gears up for release on 1st July. Based on the manga “Takara no Vidro” (タカラのびいどろ) by Suzumaru Minta (鈴丸みんた), the show stars Iwase Yoji & Konishi Eito in lead roles.

Synopsis-

Taishin has moved to Tokyo from his hometown of Fukuoka in order to reunite with Takara, a stranger who had consoled him in his grief the year prior. However, despite finally getting a chance to express his gratitude to Takara at college, he is given the cold shoulder! But Taishin, undeterred, decides to pursue Takara anyway, and Takara finds himself becoming more and more enchanted by Taishin’s straightforward and earnest gaze.

This Love Doesn’t Have Long Beans

Fresh still released for the main lead couple Pon Thanapon & Sailub Hemmawich alongside supporting couple, Garfield Pantach & Benz Atthanin. Adapted from the web novel “No Beans and Love Me More” (รักนี้ไม่มีถั่วฝักยาว) by Ninepinta (นายพินต้า), the show is set to premiere on 5th July.

Synopsis-

Model Plawan has been a pad kaprao—no long beans—enthusiast all his life. Offered a hefty sum, he’s hired to train at a well-known chef’s table restaurant under head chef Chef Oab. His secret mission is to make Chef Oab fall for him and and to become his successor. Unfortunately, he’s shaken by the harsh and stern-looking chef who smells like holy basil. Apart from being known for his skills in the kitchen, he’s also said to be a serious perfectionist, instilling fear even in his peers. How, then, can amateur Plawan hope to measure up?

The Trainee Series

Doing an internship this semester, will I get a “grade” or a “hug”???

We were just talking about the possible release of this show the other day and here we have the official date for premiere. Starring fan favorite couple Gun Atthaphan & Off Jumpol in the lead roles, “The Trainee Series” is set to premiere on 30th June.

Synopsis-

Passionate student Ryan gets an internship as an assistant director where he meets Jane, an AD with a unique ability to extinguish the fires of people’s passion. Ryan’s suffering is vented to this year’s fellow trainees, including a couple consisting of account executive Bamee and editor Teh, Pah in the art department, and Pie in production. As Ryan continues his training, however, he comes to find that P’Jane is kinder than people think, to the point that Ryan’s heart sometimes skips a beat and it becomes his goal to win Jane’s heart.
