ThamePo Heart That Skips a Beat

GMMTV seems to be clearing the deck, so they could make way for shows from the 2025 Lineup. “ThamePo Heart That Skips a Beat” stars Est Supha (Love By Chance 2: A Chance To Love) and LYKN’s William Jakrapatr as romantic leads alongside William’s bandmates Lego Rapeepong, Hong Pichetpong, Nut Thanat & Tui Chayatorn. The show is set to premiere on December 13.

Synopsis-

When Po is tasked with documenting boy group Mars’s final concert before their disbandment, he inadvertently becomes the closest confidant of leader Thame. Thame’s about to make his debut in South Korea, leaving the rest of the group behind, rife with misunderstanding.

Tokimeki Bakudan

Upcoming Japanese BL “Tokimeki Bakudan” reveals casting. Starring Kobayashi Ryota, Nishikawa Shunsuke, Kusachi Ryono, and more, the show premieres on December 1. Piqued as a sensational new comedy drama, the show will air on December 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month.

Synopsis-

Six men are trapped in an unknown abandoned warehouse. There’s an unfamiliar collar around his neck. Amidst the chaos, a stuffed dog suddenly begins to speak. The dog that calls itself AI cannot understand human emotions.

The smallest actions and gestures, things about their families, unforgettable pasts, etc. They encounter “heart-pounding moments” that they never expected, and one by one they fall out. So, what will be the outcome of this experiment?

And what is the emotion “tokimeki” that AI could not understand?

Love Like A Bike

First poster, teasers and main casting revealed for Director Golf Tanwarin’s upcoming project “Love Like A Bike”. The show stars Tee Thanapon, Masu Junyangdikul, Nanon Ruangdet, Ta Nannakun, Win Thanat & Danny Luciano as main leads.

10 Dance

One of the biggest exclusive last weekend was Netflix’s announcement of Keita Machida (Cherry Magic) upcoming BL project. Machida became extremely popular after portraying the main lead, Kurosawa in the live-action adaptation of “Cherry Magic”. This time, he will be starring in the live-action film adaptation of ’10 DANCE’, adapted from the Japanese BL manga by Satou Inoue. Machida has been paired opposite Ryoma Takeuchi. Directed by Keishi Otomo, the film focuses on two rival dancers’ journey through the intense world of competitive dance leads to an unexpected connection.

Synopsis-

Shinya Suzuki (Ryoma Takeuchi) is the Latin Dance champion in Japan. Shinya Sugiki (Keita Machida) is the Standard Ballroom champion in Japan and ranks second in the world. Even though these two men compete in different dance fields, Shinya Suzuki is always annoyed that they get compared because of their similar names. One day, Shinya Sugiki suddenly asks Shinya Suzuki to team up for the 10 Dance Competition. Dancers in the competition must perform 5 kinds of Latin Dance and 5 kinds of Standard Ballroom dances. Shinya Sugiki suggests they can teach each other their specialities in their respective dance fields. At first, Shinya Suzuki refuses the offer knowing how difficult it would be. He believes the idea is reckless, but he eventually agrees due to Shinya Sugiki’s provocative nature that sparks his competitive nature. These two dancers, who are opposites in everything, get closer while practicing daily for the dance competition. Shinya Suzuki realizes that he is getting attracted to Shinya Sugiki.

Baban Baban Ban Vampire

The anime adaptation of Hiromasa Okujima’s “Baban Baban Ban Vampire” will be streaming on Netflix from January 12, 2025. The anime stars Daisuke Namikawa as Ranmaru Mori and Yūsuke Kobayashi as Rihito Tatsuno.

Synopsis-

The story follows a 450-year-old vampire named Ranmaru, working part-time at an old public bath. He desires the blood of an 18-year-old virgin, and so watches over the growth of 15-year-old Rihito, the son of the bathhouse owners, and tries to prevent him from losing his virginity.

I Promise I Will Come Back

Tontae Tinnakorn will be starring opposite Taiwanese twin actors JN – Hsia Chen En and JD – HSia Chen Te (HIStory3: Make Our Days Count) in “I Promise I Will Come Back”. This charity-driven project is created to promote tourism in his hometown province of Phrae, Thailand. This series aims to promote beautiful and not yet well-known tourist attractions in Phrae Province. They will tell stories of love and bonding amidst the beautiful backdrop of Phrae.

The Renovation Series

Mojo Muse Management released the official poster for their upcoming project, “The Renovation Series”. Stars Peter Paratthakorn, Golf Kunavut in lead roles. Set to premiere on December 14.

The Killer Next Door

Another biggest takeaway from last week was the announcement that Cha Hakyeon (VIXX) will appearing as the main lead in the upcoming Korean BL “The Killer Next Door”.

Cha Hakyeon became popular after playing lead roles in “Bad and Crazy”, “Joseon Attorney: A Morality” and “Castaway Diva”. “The Killer Next Door” is a BL genre drama that tells the story of a professional baseball player and his fans. Cha Hak-yeon plays Yoon-je, a fan of a professional baseball player. The show will probably be aired on TVING which has been making waves with its recent production of queer drama “Love in the Big City”.

Official trailer released for Luca Guadagnino’s spellbinding new film “Queer”. Based on the novel by William S. Burroughs and starring Daniel Craig and Drew Starkey. Opens in NY & LA on 27th November, everywhere December 13.

The Summer Hikaru Died

The long-awaited anime adaptation of Mokumokuren’s hit manga “The Summer Hikaru Died” will be streaming on Netflix. A chilling blend of slice of life and the supernatural, Yoshiki’s life is thrown upside down when his best friend Hikaru is replaced by “something” that looks and acts just like him. The newly released teaser trailer offers a glimpse into Yoshiki and Hikaru’s eerie world. Directed by Ryohei Takeshita (Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night), the animation is produced by CygamesPictures. The anime stars Chiaki Kobayashi as Yoshiki Tsujinaka and Shuichiro Umeda as Hikaru Indou.

Watcha has announced the official casting for the upcoming Korean BL adaptation “Secret Relationship”. Starring Kim Jun-Seo, Cha Sun-Hyung, Cha Jung-Woo, and Kim Ho-Young in main roles.

Big Thanakorn and Park Anantadej (Monster Next Door) will be starring in WeTV Original “Me And Who”. Adapted from the novel “Me and Who” (โปตัวปลอม) by wickedwish_, the show is a collaboration between WeTV, Domundi, and Mandee.

Jupiter Entertainment has released the pilot trailer for its upcoming project, “Eyes On You The Series”. The show stars Pub Patihan & Film Watchara in lead roles.

Eternal Butler

First trailer released for upcoming Taiwanese BL, “Eternal Butler”. Starring Kevin Chang & Chen Chvn Ting, the show is set to premiere on December 20.

Synopsis-

The story happened after the departure of Ever 9, who fell in love with a human. The leader of the Ever series, Ever 4, in order to fight for his rights as an AI, was sent to the Luo family as a deacon and bodyguard. Facing the rebellious young master of the family, Luo Bu Shi, how can Ever 4, who is used to being in control, keep his young master in line?
