With the hoopla surrounding the GMMTV lineup coming to an end, WeTV Thailand took the center stage last week with their own very own lineup for 2025. With some new storylines and a few already announced projects, WeTV seems to serious about venturing into the Thai shores.

Exclusive Love

LINE TV has released the official poster for their upcoming Taiwanese BL “Exclusive Love”. Starring Mao Qi Sheng, Zhang Jia Sheng, Xu Wei Ze, Pu Jing Heng, Sun Mai Jie, and Zheng Li Yu in lead roles, the show is set to premiere on IQIYI, starting 14th February, 2025.

Synopsis-

The story centers on Wang Zhan, a timid second-generation funeral director with dreams of becoming a singer, who struggles with the responsibility of taking over his family’s business. His life takes a dramatic turn when he meets Tang Duzhi, a disciplined and charismatic ace mortician who becomes his mentor.

Under the Skin Season 2

The much anticipated sequel of the crime thriller, “Under the Skin” is set to premiere on 10th December, 2024 on iQIYI & Tencent. Starring Tan Jianci & special lead Jin Shijia alongside Zhang Bojia, Zhu Jiaqi, Lu Yanqi, Qin Hailu & Fang Zibin.

Synopsis-

The second season will continue the core of the story of the first season of “Painting Color and Seeing People’s Hearts”, and understand the complexity of human nature through the outline of the portrait. The Beijiang squad, composed of simulation portraitist Shen Yi, criminal police captain Du Cheng and others, will continue to solve the human puzzle in the second season and chase the real culprit of the case.

I Became the Main Role of a BL Drama Season Two

Possibly the most anticipated sequel ever, Japanese manga adaptation “I Became the Main Role of a BL Drama” has been renewed for Season Two. Starring Abe Alan & Akutsu Nichika in lead roles, the show is adapted from the manga series “BL Drama no Shuen ni Narimashita” (BLドラマの主演になりました) by Suzuri Machi (すずり街).

The story centers on Akafuji Yuichiro, a popular and charming actor, and Aoyagi Hajime, a former child star who’s lost his spark, are cast as the leads in a live-action adaptation of a hit BL manga. To prep for the role, they move in together, but their relationship is rocky from the start. Akafuji’s cold attitude toward Aoyagi only fuels his dislike. Little do they know, Akafuji is secretly in love with Aoyagi, and Aoyagi thinks Akafuji just can’t stand him. Their misunderstandings lead to a hilarious, heartwarming cohabitation romance. In the sequel, Akafuji and Aoyagi’s “too pure love” will be depicted with even more power.

WeTV Original Lineup 2025

Be On Cloud in collaboration with WeTV will be producing “Shine”, the sequel to the 2023 historical thriller “Man Suang”. Mile Phakphum and Apo Nattawin will be reprising their roles as Khem & Chatra. The prequel focused on Khem, who along with his friend Wan was send on a mission to investigate the truth hidden inside “Man Suang”, the most luxurious and mysterious entertainment club in Siam. The two friends join the troupe and meet Chatra, a taphon musician. The relationship between the three develops while the dark secret of Man Suang and their hidden motives are revealed bit by bit. Khem & Chatra’s scenes had subtle romantic tones and their relationship could be developed further in the sequel.

Synopsis-

This is a series that unveils the soul of an era when the battle for freedom of thought meets the ultimate choice between love and ideology. When hearts and beliefs collide, what path will they take?

Smart Chisanupong (Don’t Say No) and Boom Raweewit (Chains of Heart) will be starring in the Thai adaptation of the hit Japanese manga, “Top Star The Series”. The show is being adapted from the hit manga series “Dakaichi: I’m Being Harassed by the Sexiest Man of the Year” (抱かれたい男1位に脅されています。) by Sakurabi Hashigo (桜日梯子).

Synopsis-

Saijo Takato, an actor since childhood, has been recognized as the “sexiest man of the year” in the entertainment industry for five consecutive years. However, his first-place position has been usurped by Azumaya Junta, a young newcomer actor. While Takato firstly sees Junta as a rival, on the other hand, Junta admires Takato greatly and is in love with him.

WeTV in collaboration with Insight Entertainment and YYDS Entertainment will be producing “Love of Silom”. Starring Up Poompat and Poom Phuriphan (My Stand-In) in lead roles.

YYDS Entertainment’s 2025-2026 Lineup

YYDS Entertainment in collaboration with Insight Entertainment announced their upcoming projects for 2025-2026 at the Asia TV Forum & Market in Singapore. Alongside UpPoom’s “Love of Silom”, they have unveiled three major adaptations.

YYDS Entertainment and Insight Entertainment will be producing the live-action adaptation of “I’m Not Wrong”. Adapted from Korean author Hwacha’s webtoon of the same name (Love Supremacy Zone/Love for Love’s Sake).

The second project is the live-action adaptation of WeComics’ “Concealed And Blended”. The story follows a straight makeup artist and a gay former e-sports player who pretends to be straight.

The third announcement was about the live-action adaptation of “Love Destiny From Hell”. Based on the novel by Violet Rain (“The Hidden Moon”& “I Feel You Linger In The Air).

WaGA Creative’s Upcoming Projects

WaGa Creative have announced two upcoming projects starring Fluke Natouch & Judo Tantachj. First is the sequel to their 2023 adaptation “Make a Wish”. Based on the novel “Make a Wish” (ภารกิจนายเทวดา) by Sammon, the show received good reviews but it is still unavailable to the international audiences.

The second project is an original script written by author Sammon Scene. Titled “Lost on the River The Series”, the show stars Fluke Natouch & Judo Tantachj in lead roles.

Synopsis-

He is a first love that is hard to forget.
