There were so many fun, cute, exciting, and heartfelt moments this week that this author feels she got to stuff her face with the most delicious food almost every day. My top three are from Perfect 10 Liners, Your Sky, and The Heart Killers.

1. Gun and Yotha in Perfect 10 Liners agree to face their fears together. This moment was so heartfelt. Also, the main actors, Perth and Santa have chemistry leaking out of their ears.

2. At the end of Your Sky, all I can say is, “Go watch it. Seriously, you won’t regret it.” The director and actors did a great job building the artistry, chemistry, and intimacy.

3. The entire episode of The Heart Killers this week was swoon-worthy. The balance they found between comedy and drama was perfection.

Sunday 1/12

Sundays are officially a BL buffet for the time being. Four shows are airing, and I love three of them.

Perfect 10 Liners Episode 12 (Thai BL on YouTube)

Favorite Cute Moments –

1. Yotha hears Gun say he likes him. They agree to fight their fears together, and Yotha tells Gun that he has to take responsibility for his feelings.

2. Yotha agrees to take the love quiz.

3. Klao sleeps outside Wa’s door like a sad puppy.

4. You can tell how well Perth and Santa built their chemistry. Any time Yotha and Gun got near each other, it sizzled.

Your Sky Episode 9 (Thai BL on iQIYI)

Thoughts –

1. I’m glad everyone was right about the parent situation being made up in Rak’s imagination.

2. I agree with everyone who says Real and Hia’s situation is heartbreaking. But the acting was excellent.

3. Me at the end of the episode: 😲🔥🥰👀🙈

The Boy Next World Episode 2 (Thai BL on iQIYI)

Thoughts –

1. I’m going all in and believing the parallel worlds theory.

2. Phu is such a sweetheart and quickly grasped the possible implications.

3. Jin is my favorite character. I hope he gets a solid story arc.

4. The way Cir manhandled Phu had me melting.

Sangmin Dinneaw Episode 3 (Available on iQIYI uncut and YouTube)

Thoughts –

1. I have decided this series isn’t for me and I won’t be continuing.

2. But, if you enjoy over-the-top quirkiness and cute leads, this is the series for you.

Monday 1/13

EarthMix Monday’s. If you haven’t seen EMS EarthMix Space, I highly recommend it.

Ossan’s Love Thailand Episode 2 (Thai BL on YouTube)

Thoughts –

1. The rooftop scene was everything I hoped it would be.

2. I like Heng’s friends for calling him out on his BS.

3. Heng’s confession that he liked having Mo around and his decision to get Mo back into his life just shows us how smitten he already is.

Tuesday 1/14

There are no BLs currently airing on Tuesdays, so I decided to watch the 2025 Lineup from Idol Factory.

My ranking by level of excitement:

4- Somewhere, Somehow (GL) – The pilot was messy and hard to follow. I’m not sure about this one.

3- Cranium (GL)- I really enjoyed this concept. If you like action and thriller vibes, you’ll enjoy it, too.

2- Interminable – All l can say is I will be sobbing by the end at some point.

1- My Sweetheart Jom – So cute. Plus, I can’t wait to see Saint again in a lead role.

Note: it was hard to choose between 2 and 1, but I love comedy a bit more than drama.

Wednesday 1/15

Wednesday is Heart Killers day! It’s so fun to help with the trend on X and see everyone’s reactions.

The Heart Killers Episode 8 (Thai BL on iQIYI here in the US)

Thoughts –

1. The plot thickens! 😳 There is a hit on the hitmen…

2. I think Mae Lilly lied to the boys about their targets being bad people.

3. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Fadel is an adorable hitman.

4. I was cracking up at the entire scene in the abandoned house. 🤣

5. First and Khao do intimacy so well. The scene on the hammock got me with its simplicity. Beautiful.

Impression of Youth Episodes 1 and 2 (Taiwanese BL on iQIYI and Viki in the US)

First thoughts-

1. It seems to be two simple love stories.

2. There is an age gap, and one character is in a place of authority, which isn’t my favorite plot device because I’m a teacher.

3. I’m more interested in the adult’s love story mainly due to the renovating neighbor’s back story and heartache. It was intriguing.

4. I’ll try another episode. 👀

Thursday 1/16

Thursday’s main show is Fourever You.

Note: Fourever You Part 1 is almost over. (Yes, people, there is a second part to this story.) There’s only one episode left and many of you have already seen it. (Episode 17 is on FastTrack on Tencent.)

Thoughts –

1. It’s tough when you can’t let go of liking someone even when they’ve moved on. 🥺

2. Even though it was a flashback, it was a solid story. You can almost watch this episode by itself and still enjoy it.

3. I think I would have been more invested had this episode been first instead of last.

When it Rains it Pours Episode 2 (Japanese BL on Gagaoolala)

Note: When it Rains it Pours comes out on Thursday evenings here in the US. Technically, it airs on Fridays on the other side of the world.

Thoughts –

1. This show is having a rather mellow beginning, but I have a feeling that explosions and heartbreak are inevitable.

2. That email conversation certainly progressed rapidly. 😳

3. Misery loves company.

Friday 1/17

ThamePo is worth getting up by 6 a.m. to watch before work. I’m so lucky that I live on the West Coast and these shows air super early!

Thoughts –

1. Po’s puppy eyes could melt the coldest of hearts.

2. Thame is so straightforward. It’s refreshing.

3. I didn’t think it would be possible to top last week’s final scene, but they did.

4. BL Songbird is 404 not found. Melted puddle alert.

Eternal Butler Episode 6 (Taiwanese BL on iQIYI)

Thoughts –

1. I think Bu Shi is correct in overanalyzing.

2. Ever 4 is rather rebellious for a robot.

3. Can a robot’s feelings ever be real?

Saturday 1/18

There’s only one BL that I’m watching on Saturdays, but if you like angst, Teenage Judge from Vietnam is airing on YouTube. Also, head over and watch some excellent GL’s if you’d like. Petrichor is on iQIYI, and Us the Series released its first episode today on YouTube!

I Will Turn Back This Time Episode 2 (Chinese BL on Gagaoolala)

Thoughts –

1. At first, I thought they just turned back time. Now, I think maybe they did that and placed him in a parallel world.

2. I enjoyed the acting where Shi Wen no longer recognizes Shen Nan. They played off each other well.

3. I’m officially invested in this plot and am so curious to see which direction they take it!
