Boat Yongyut & Oat Pasakorn, My Stubborn

One of the most versatile pairings in current times (and no, we aren’t talking about positions, because you know who is the dominant in this case). Apart producing subpar content that was barely recognizable, M Flow Entertainment hit gold with their recent hit “My Stubborn”. And they owe this success to the lead pair, Boat & Oat. Apart from the storytelling that was catered to the main leads, the show’s popularity can be attributed to Boat & Oat’s sensual chemistry. There wasn’t a single episode where their characters weren’t making out, and if they weren’t, then Sorn would be distraught. Playing a sex maniac character on the reform isn’t easy, but Boat Yongyut breezes through his performance. Joining him on this hot crusade is Oat Pasakorn who matches his elan. The genre isn’t particularly easy to play and yet BoatOat delivered a flawless performance. I haven’t seen such an explosive chemistry in a long time!

Joss Way-ar & Gawin Caskey, My Golden Blood

The new resident vampires in B-Town, Joss & Gawin’s fresh pairing spoke to the masses. Joss was previously paired opposite Tay Tawan in “3 Will Be Free” while Gawin was paired opposite First Kanaphan (Not Me) & Krist Perawat (Be My Favorite). Even though these couplings rose to fame, they weren’t deemed popular enough to become brand pairings. GMMTV’s search for a new couple lead them to JossGawin and the rest as they say is history. They literally rewrote history playing risque characters as the vampire and an insignificant human with “Golden Blood”. The blend was unique, their chemistry was natural and their performance was commendable. If there are two people who compliment each other well, Joss Gawin would be the ideal example. I’m pretty sure we can look forward to their next project in 2026!

Peterpan Tadsapon & Pond Ponlawit, Reset The Series

Peter & Pond were an unlikely pairing, no one thought they could make it. Peter’s only contribution to the BL world was his supporting role in “Oh! My Sunshine Night”. Pond made his debut with the 2022 classic “180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us” after which he disappeared from the BL scene for 2 years. His reappearance was marked by a supporting role in “Century of Love” which landed him the lead role in the ensemble romance “Fourever You”. So, when it was announced that these two will be paired in the time travel adaptation “Reset The Series”, everyone had doubts about their possible chemistry. Peter & Pond smashed those doubts with their reckoning chemistry which has skyrocketed the show’s ratings. The “Thada- Armin” combination became an instant hit; it is said that Thada looks at Armin like he hung the moon & the stars, that’s true. Their kissing scenes are phenomenally done, you can feel the hunger their characters have for each other. Peter Pond are quite lit and rightly so!

Pavel Naret & Pooh Krittin, Pit Babe Season Two

Pavel & Pooh are the most antisocial couple on this list. Newly paired in the 2024 sleeper hit “Pit Babe The Series”, they rose to fame playing the racer couple, Babe & Charlie. Though they do attend events like most BL couples, they don’t have much interaction on the social media, and they are quite private. Despite that, their popularity hasn’t dimmed. Returning to the silver screen, they yet again reprised their roles from the prequel in S2, Pavel and Pooh have a natural chemistry. They don’t need to try too hard, kissing comes easily to them and their “Mama-Papa” banter is endearing. Charlie & Babe understand each other perfectly, despite their abundant differences, they always find a point to reconcile. It is difficult to separate them and marriage was the obvious outcome to their years of pinning and yearning!

William Jakrapatr & Est Supha, ThamePo Heart That Skips a Beat

William and Est recently did a photoshoot for a scene that was quite reminiscent of the adaptation “Red, White & Royal Blue”. The movie has been adapted from novelist Casey McQuiston’s book of the same name. Somehow, she saw their IG post and was elated. There are many who are hoping for a Thai remake; given the storyline, it is slightly impossible. But the head honchos at GMMTV can make anything possible, so 2026 could be interesting. As the resident pop idol at GMMTV, William is probably one of the most popular stars in the Thai pop industry. He had his own followers even before he started acting. “ThamePo Heart That Skips a Beat” has just widened his fan base and rightly so, because his pairing with Est is unusually charming. No one would have guessed that a pop idol paired with barely known actor would make waves and set the stage on fire. But they did and their popularity keeps growing. Given their current success rate, William & Est will definitely be starring in another project soon!
