Iwamoto Renka & Tomisato Nao will be starring as the main leads in the drama adaptation of GL manga “Futari Escape”. Delicious Divorce Notification
Maeda Gouki and Mizusawa Rintaro will star with Masuda Risa in “Delicious Divorce Notification”. Set to premiere on Oct 01 on ChukyoTV and NTV.
This human legal drama explores the questions posed by two people who cannot be bound by law. Partners in both public and private life, lawyer Otokita Hajime (Maeda) and detective Iseya Kai (Mizusawa), unable to legally unite, take on divorce cases for people suffering from their partner’s betrayal.
Their battle is filled with eccentric characters, including a “vile, famous TV presenter” who, despite his popularity, is constantly harassing younger female announcers, and a “wayward woman” who betrayed her same-sex lover and, for some reason, chose to marry someone of the opposite sex. There’s also a “divorce request from the dead.” What kind of “sweet divorce” will the two of them lead?
Maeda stars in this drama, his second consecutive drama series in the same time slot, following “Complete Affair.” This time, he plays Otokita Hajime, a quirky and intelligent divorce lawyer. Sharp and calm, he may appear cold at first glance, but in reality, he is more compassionate than anyone. The other lead role will be played by Mizusawa, who will be starring in his first terrestrial TV drama series. He will play the friendly and lovable detective Iseya Kai, who lives with Hatsu and trusts him both in public and private. The two, who are partners both in public and private, will team up to do whatever it takes to stand by their clients who have been betrayed and hurt by their partners, fighting to deliver the “best future” for them.
