A HUGE LETDOWN FROM A SHOW WHOSE FIRST SEASON WAS FRESH AND GRIPPING!!
For a series that started really well, the pilot episodes were gripping and exciting to watch. In the end, however the show dragged on with the addition of unneccessary tropes like amnesia, a person who looks similar to an ex-lover, jealousy, and misunderstandings. Surprisingly, the miscommunication was the last thing I expected and that too between our main couple Charlie (Pooh Krittin) and Babe (Pavel Naret). The couple who stole the show were Kim (Benz Atthanin) and Kenta (Garfield Pantach), and I am still bitter about the fact that they got so much less screen time, while irrelevant scenes were dragged out.

Let’s first talk about the main couple of the series, Charlie and Babe due to which most hype for Season One was created. All the writer needed to do was write it in a way that would justify their love, but instead they went the amnesia road and made Charlie forget everything. While I do sometimes like the amnesia trope, I hated it here because It made me frustrated, and then it was followed by the cheating trope (almost), it didn’t happen but was that necessary to add? Now, for me, Pete (Ping Orbnithi) was always a very mysterious, intriguing character (like we know what other people were able to do, their power and sense), but getting to know things about Pete was nice. Overall, I wasn’t totally happy with his plot, too.

I was so excited to get some answers to all the mysteries and was thrilled thinking that it would live up to the expectations, but instead, the season focused on lovers’ issues or just love problems, and not the part that would have made the series so much interesting. I feel like Kim and Kenta were the string that held the series together as they unraveled so much, which I can’t spoil, and as much as I want to talk about Willy, I will not because I like to be vague about the series in review to create a sense of mystery. Other than Kim & Kenta, we literally got nothing much from Alan (Sailub Hemmawich) & Jeff (Pon Thanapon), which I was expecting. The impressive parts of the show were when the actors were on racing alley, and we saw them racing.

The car chasing scene of Kim-Kenta was so well filmed that I have repeated so many times. In the last episode, the hand holding scene was truly adorable (If you know who I am talking about, not Charlie Babe). The actors were perfect in their role though, I have no complaints from any of the actors in the series, because even though the show was not well-written and unnecessarily dragged; the actors shone like diamonds who were consistent throughout the series. They will probably make viewers attached to the series till the end. Pooh and Pavel as Charlie and Babe did a good job, Benz and Garfield as Kim and Kenta stole the show. I mean each of the actors did a nice job and that’s the only positive thing about it.
