This week, there were two lineup events. One was from WeTV Thailand, and one was from IQIYI Thailand.
One series I’m excited for is “Be My Player Two”. This was one of WeTV’s announcements. It is from studio Wabi Sabi and has Maxky Ratchata and Bas Hatsanet, who last played together in “Fourever You”. It is apparently a prequel to “A Boss and a Babe”. I like the esports theme, and the preview felt fresh. It’ll be fun.
Another series I’m excited for is “Love of Silom”. This series will air on WeTV, and I’m excited to see Up Poompat and Poom Phuripan bring new roles to life. They were last seen in “My Stand-In”, which was so toxic. Sometimes, I couldn’t quite believe what I was watching. Now, with this series, I’m hoping their relationship will be less toxic. We’ll have to wait and see.
IQIYI announced a special episode of “Khemjira”, and I cheered. They are also officially doing artist management now, and have taken Mos Panuwat and Bank Mondop under their wing with a new series titled “Identity Zero”. I’m also curious about “Knot” and “Gelboys Season 2”. There is so much coming next year. The question is, will we be able to keep up?
Many more series were announced, so be sure to check them out.
Now, on to the week in review.

School Trip Joined a Group I’m Not Close to Episode 3 (Japanese BL on Gagaoolala)
1. Asahi was so sweet taking care of that kid.
2. The haunted house/mummy moment was funny.
3. The awkwardness of sharing a bed was so apparent.
4. This continues to be a light, easy-to-watch series.
Chosen Home Episode 3 (Japanese Queer drama on Netflix)
No need to be a secret
1. Hatano may be a little too much into everyone’s business, but he still ends up being endearing somehow.
2. I can’t believe he confessed, just like that.
3. Sakuta is sweet in a different way. I love his backstory.
Head 2 Head Episode 2 (Thai BL on YouTube)
Key takeaways
1. J is smitten, even if he doesn’t realize it yet.
2. I think Jinn is well-aware of how he feels about J.
3. Farm is also aware he has feelings for Van.
4. JJ needs a series where he isn’t the fifth wheel.

Blurred Lines
1. I’m glad Lanee was there to fix what Sea and the others ruined through ignorance.👏
2. The scene where Ice and Saint rehearsed as their characters was beautiful, but all I could see were those blurred lines. It’s unhealthy for an actor.

1. It would be unnerving to try to take on the type of role Asami has.
2. Yuki’s role is also scary because you might take the character home with you, and then what? Do you lose yourself to take on the ultimate role?
The Cursed Love Episode 5 (Thai BL on YouTube)
Zombies
1. I never thought we’d see zombies or mummies in this series.
2. I blanched during that scene where Siwat was possessed in a past life and wielded the knife.

1. Gildal and Jigwi’s story felt unfinished.
2. Who is Cheoyong?
3. The final scenes felt more like a “to be continued” than an “end.”
4. It was an entertaining premise, easy to follow, with fun moments. If you have time, give it a shot.
Punk’s Triangle Episode 5 (Japanese BL on Gagaoolala)
1. Enaga really shouldn’t be deciding for Chiaki what he can and can’t handle.
2. The way Chiaki caressed Enaga’s hand while applying lotion was so sensual. 🔥
3. I like the black band aids and all the jewelry. It’s fun.

2. I’m glad Wave and Lava were able to find a resolution to their argument so quickly.🙏
3. The ending… 😳🔫🌊
Me and Who Episodes 5 (Thai BL on Tencent/WeTV)
Leading Man
1. Why did I think that was the wedding ceremony? There’s still much to learn. 🤦♀️
4. Drunken Apo asking to be the leading man instead of the villain was adorable.
5. There are some great uses to having your thoughts heard🤭.
Goddess Bless you from Death Episode 2 (Thai BL on IQIYI)
Ghosts are real
1. I like Singha’s sharp, no-nonsense personality.
2. Theory: The ghost of the little girl could be the victim’s dead relative who they wanted to see again.
3. I hate that they’re considering making Thup a scapegoat.
Interminable Thailand Episode 1 ✴️PREMIERE (Thai BL on IQIYI)
1. It was fun guessing who was a ghost and who wasn’t.
2. Kaewta’s visions and drawings were a great way to draw me in.

Irredeemable
1. This might be the most twisted BL I’ve ever seen.
2. I don’t feel sorry for Pheem. He’s driven everything good out of his life and should be placed on a timeout.
3. Their father is where the real blame should be placed.

Awaiting Dawn Episode 10 (Vietnamese BL on YouTube)
On Monday, November 10, the final season of the Japanese BL “A Man Who Defies the World of BL” will begin on Gagaoolala. The series is just silly and fun, so if you enjoy a good satire, check out the other three seasons that are already available before starting the fourth season. In fact, if you live in the Western Hemisphere, it was probably available Sunday evening.
Next Saturday, November 15, we will have three new series to watch. First, we have “Me and Thee”. I’ll be honest, this is one I’m looking forward to. I’ve actually read and enjoyed the novel. I’ll be curious to see how the two main leads (Pond Naravit and Phuwin Tangsakyuen) bring them to life. Catch this Thai BL on IQIYI or GMMTV’s app.
Also, “Tide of Love” is a Korean BL that will begin on SeekMedia’s YouTube channel behind a paywall and Gagaoolala. It looks like it’ll be a story about forced proximity and a contractual relationship.
Finally, “To My Shore” is a Chinese BL that will be released on Gagaoolala in select countries. From what I’ve read, it seems likely to be a toxic ride.
