“I’m the Most Beautiful Count” Series Review (Ep.1 to 13)

Hilarious, Sassy, and Entertaining!!

I have read a lot of transmigration novels, but this is the first time I have watched a series with this concept, and I will say I loved this series a lot. Prince’s (Nut Supanut) character is one of the best queer characters ever written. It’s cute, sweet, intelligent, and sassy. She is the light and heart of the show. It was so refreshing seeing Supanat as Prince or in Woradet’s role. Last time I saw Supanat in “Oxygen the Series”, where he played a quiet and charming character, but in this show, Supanat plays a queer rockstar, and she is a queen. Every time she comes on the screen, it’s so mesmerizing.

In the first episode, Prince transmigrates to Woradet’s body, who died after consuming poison due to heartbreak from their lover, or so he is told, but as the story moves forward, Prince unravels the story, and along this creates a funny situation in serious moments. It’s so funny when Prince first woke up, she thinks that she is on a variety show where there is a hidden camera and everyone is playing some charcter’s but when she learns the truth, she is more than shocked. Supanat really did justice with every facial expression and his comic timing was apt. Supanat really does well in delivering every scene with charisma. Now, along with Woradet’s, Lord Kosol (Ping Orbnithi) and Bajong (Pop Pataraphol) are two other characters who add more entertainment to the show, and this trio, their relationship, and love triangle is pure comedy.

I really enjoyed Prince and Kosol’s chemistry; there was definitely an intense spark, but I also liked Prince and Bajong’s sweet hidden chemistry. Another character that stole the show for me is Jade (Lee Asre), Woradet’s servant, who is super sweet, loyal, and dedicated. Though the show is based in a historical setting, it is quite dramatic and should be watched purely for entertainment purposes, rather than finding inaccuracies or how it’s so different from other historical series. The show is very entertaining and worth watching; it includes comedy, melodrama, and romance, which is really refreshing to watch.
