An exceptional start to this magic blended series with the worst-imaginable ending!!!
Synopsis–
Young model and billionaire Siwat embarks on a secret quest to get rid of his uncontrollable fire powers, which are tied to his heartbeat and have already cost him dearly. His only hope lies in the legendary Heart of Divine Magic hidden deep within the ancient lost city of Tambralinga. The journey pits him against Khunkhao, a wind-controlling mountain rescuer who knows the city’s secrets and wants them buried forever, forcing both men to confront ancient curses, magical rivalries, and a love that could rewrite the course of history.
“The Cursed Love” is a Thai BL series that started beautifully, exploring themes such as love, fate, and emotions. But as the episodes moved headed towards the finale, it went downhill to the point; where, in the end, I was angry because it felt like the writers were in a rush to end the series in whichever way possible.

The story centers around two characters, Siwat (Ongsa Tthuchh) and Khunkhao (Au Kittipon Tippayatayarut), whose relationship feels touched by fate as one can control fire and the other wind, alike but opposite, challenged by circumstances beyond their control. As the series moves forward, we get to watch their bond grow slowly and naturally. In addition to both characters, the magical element of the series, the set and design of the show also felt exceptional, to the point that after the first two episodes, you will be mesmerized and feel inclined to watching the upcoming episodes.
I just think the story had so much potential and could have been one of the top fantasy blended BL series of 2025, but when we reach the last episodes, I felt that unnecessary things were stretched and important parts like their relationship were so rushed. I think the main issue was not a bad ending because a lot of series and movies have bad or open endings. It suits the taste of the movie and brings out an artistic experience, but what happened here was that the ending we got didn’t suit the show and could have been better.

Both Au and Ongsa, as Khunkhao and Siwat did really well, and they managed to portray the characters pretty well. Their pairing and chemistry felt very natural and gentle to watch. Even the side characters like Thara (Thakhi Onglaor), Mild (Tita Chayanit) and other characters too did an excellent job. Each actor did their very best and put effort into acting. Due to its beautiful concept, setting, and magical elements, the series can be watched and enjoyed at least once!
