Love can be the anchor for growth and self improvement, given how two individuals learn to support each other while balancing their life goals!
The drama adaptation of Narashima Sachi’s manga series Cosmetic Playlover returns for Season Two. Rivals turned lovers, Sahashi Toma (Toyoda Yudai) and Mamiya Natsume (Okuno So) are settled in a harmonious relationship. Natsume wants to endeavor to become the number BA at his company while Toma wants to be the number one makeup artist. The first two episodes characteristically set the stage for future conflicts and possible estrangement.
The Storyline-

Natsume and Toma are still working in the same office, choosing to pursue their own dreams at the same pace. Since Natsume decides to become the number one BA at their company, Toma wants to become the number one makeup artist at Romy Feerique, so that they are at par with each other. Toma’s overtly serious nature and his intense affinity for Natsume become a deterrent when he is chosen for training by the top makeup artist, Emma (Kato Rosa). She sees potential in Toma’s unwavering skills and wants to choose him as one of her successors. For that, Toma will need to shift to Paris and train under explicitly for two years. Toma slowly begins to drift apart; he struggles between choosing his dream or facing a two-year separation with Natsume. Even though he doesn’t know the reason, Natsume can guess that something is bothering Toma. Things become more clear when Emma chooses to have a conversation with Natsume and informs him about her business proposal. Toma also decides to have a one-on-one discussion with Natsume about their future. Natsume decides that he needs to support Toma, from now, just like he did in the past. The major question remains- can they sustain a long-distance relationship for two years?
First Impressions

Something’s never change, with time, they get better; if they can survive the test of time, Natsume & Toma will come out stronger!
Even though he has dreams to pursue, Toma isn’t the strongest camper. He can’t bring himself to even think about the possible separation with Natsume. On the other hand, Natsume wants to fully support Toma in his future endeavors, but he also worries if they can manage a long-distance relationship. At the same time, he also wants to focus on his own ambitions and goals. It will be interesting to watch how these two will face obstacles as they move up the career ladder and ponder over their future, while maintaining their long-distance relationship!
