Soulmate

2PM’s Ok Taec Yeon will be starring alongside What Did You Eat Yesterday?’s Hayato Isomura in Netflix’s new Japanese BL Soul Mate. Probably the most anticipated premiere after the recently released “10 Dance”, the show is making waves across the globe, with fans eagerly awaiting Taec Yeon’s entry in the BL spectrum. Set to premiere on 14th May, with 8 episodes in total.

Synopsis

After inadvertently destroying the life of his best friend, Narutaki Ryu abandons everything and leaves Japan. He nearly dies at a church in a foreign country before he is saved by a Korean boxer named Hwang Jo Han. Cleat Cute

Following the runaway success of Heated Rivalry, many fans are now getting excited about nonbinary author Meryl Wilsner’s sapphic soccer romance Cleat Cute being turned into a TV series. The book was optioned under Rapinoe and Bird’s company, A Touch More, and will be their first scripted television project. Wilsner is attached as an executive producer, alongside Bird, Rapinoe, and A Touch More head of development Camille Bernier-Green.

Synopsis

Grace Henderson has been a star of the US Women’s National Team for ten years, even though she’s only 26. But when she’s sidelined with an injury, a bold new upstart, Phoebe Matthews, takes her spot. Phoebe is everything Grace isn’t—a gregarious jokester who plays with a joy that Grace lost somewhere along the way. Frozen Valentine

Official poster released for the upcoming sapphic romance “Frozen Valentine”. Adapted from the novel “Frozen Valentine” (Frozen Valentine ปิ๊งรักคุณพี่เย็นชา) by Ta Kling Kaem Chai (ตากลิ้งแก้มใจ), the show stars Natty Natthamon & Yeepun Purichaya as main leads. Premieres on 12th February, on WeTV.

Love After Addiction

Fresh teaser released for the upcoming Chinese BL “Love After Addiction”. Starring Lin Feng Song, Chen Wen, Wang Pei Wei, Hu He Ran. From the 2016 iconic series “Addicted”, Lin Fengsong and Chen Wen reunite after ten years, falling into love all over again. Premieres on Gagaoolala, Viki, from 6th February.

Synopsis

Once an award-winning actor, Yoki sees his career collapse after being entangled in scandals—and is plagued by severe insomnia. While filming a reality show on a remote island, he unexpectedly reunites with his high school classmate Yang Meng, now a rescue team leader. To his surprise, the moment he sleeps beside Yang Meng, his long-suffering insomnia disappears. Using “sleep aid” as an excuse, Yoki launches a series of calculated pursuits, trying to get closer to the emotionally guarded Yang Meng. When Oranges Fall

Workshop has begun for the upcoming romance “When Oranges Fall”. Adapted from the web novel “Ton Som Yu Ban Khao Tae Phon Som Lon Ma Ban Rao Talot Loei” (ต้นส้มบ้านเขา แต่ผลส้มหล่นมาบ้านเราตลอดเลย) by Littleskyofme, the show stars Almond Poomsuwan & Progress Passawish in lead roles.

Synopsis

Ko was a boy who adored oranges more than anything in the world—but not just any oranges. They had to be from the tree next door. No other oranges tasted so good or made him as happy. Fragrant, sweet, delicious—everything about those homegrown oranges, Ko loved completely.

Except for one thing: the orange tree’s true owner. That boy, the one with the cool name jut the same as Ko’s. Everyone called him “Ko Two,” as was customary when two people shared the same name. And so, Ko naturally became “Ko One.” But the similarity ended with their names. Their personalities were complete opposites—as if heaven had sent a masterful celestial being to punish a mischievous little orange demon.

As the story of the two Kos unfolded, they grew—both in body and in the feelings quietly forming in their hearts.

Synopsis

Synopsis

Synopsis

Accused

Netflix has dropped the official teaser for “Accused”, a much-anticipated psychological drama starring Konkona Sen Sharma and Pratibha Ranta.

Synopsis

The story revolves around Dr. Geetika (Konkona Sen Sharma), a queer respected gynaecologist with a stellar professional record based in London. Her life unravels after serious allegations of sexual misconduct are made against her, thrusting her into a storm of suspicion, public scrutiny and personal turmoil. In a few stark moments, the teaser shows how quickly doubt can spread.

Professional respect gives way to suspicion, personal bonds begin to fracture, and Geetika finds herself isolated, fighting a battle that goes beyond legal consequences. The strain on her marriage and sense of self appears just as central as the accusation itself.

Always Meet Again

First look posters unveiled for the upcoming school romance “Always Meet Again”. Starring Woo Ji Han & Shin Jeong You (A Breeze of Love) in lead roles. Premieres on 5th March.

De Noche

Following Joaquin Phoenix’s exit last year, Todd Haynes’ subversive love story “De Noche” is back on track with Pedro Pascal officially set to play a hard-boiled detective opposite Danny Ramirez as his younger lover. Shooting will start next month.

Haynes penned the screenplay with longtime collaborator Jon Raymond. The story, which echoes classic noirs like “Chinatown,” charts the passionate and unexpected love affair between a cop (Pascal) and a boarding school teacher (Ramirez) in 1930s Los Angeles, when the city is overtaken by corruption and the world is on the brink of war. The two men become targets of the city’s corrupt political machine and are forced to flee to Mexico.
