Someone, please save Qin from Duang!!!
And I do say this in an endearing manner, because I have never met a more amusingly, stalkerish character like Duang. The show isn’t flamboyant, but a robust outburst of uncanny love and affection from a character hellbent on pursuing the “love of his life”. The said love interest is rather a cold-hearted Prince, very, very handsome but resolutely reserved. It requires a Herculean amount of effort to break through his defenses, so our protagonist gets involved in nonsensically hilarious yet drastic measures to win him over. Adapted from the novel “not the best but still good” by peachhplease, “Duang With You” nosedives straight into Duang’s supposed obsession with Qin. At times, it seems like one-sided unrequited love, but then what is love if not difficult??
The Silliness, Fluffiness Explode

The story begins when, one fine night, Duang (TeeTee Wanpichit) comes across Qin (Por Suppakarn), a popular but icy student from the Faculty of Music at the freshman’s orientation party. A popular decorative arts student, Duang is rather impulsive and hyperactive. For him, it’s love at first sight as he watches Qin serenade the audience with his golden vocals. He immediately decides that Qin will be the “Love of his Life”. It doesn’t matter if Qin agrees or not; Duang decides he will win over Qin despite the circumstances. He stalks Qin with a precision that would put most detectives to shame. Until the day, he declares his affections openly in front of Qin, who challenges him to try his luck. Thus, begins the cat and mouse chase whereby Duang tries some very questionable yet incredibly funny tricks to win over Qin. Por and TeeTee excel in their portrayals, rather it is a joy to watch them in this role reversal. As opposed to their roles in “Your Sky”, where TeeTee had to play a quiet character, here he is required to embody a rather comical personality. TeeTee imbibes Duang with a refreshing authenticity that is adorable and also insane. Por has to play a character with a poker face, which means he needs to have a tight control over his expressions. It is difficult to get a read on Qin’s emotions, especially when Duang is acting bat shit crazy; I have no idea how Por manages to keep a straight face despite everything. They have interesting chemistry, to say the least!
First Impressions

Everyone from Duang’s friends to Qin’s friends to Qin himself, are helping Duang pursue Qin!!
Qin might seem unaffected, but he isn’t. From stealing Duang’s stickers to purposely choosing the white chocolate so he could grant Duang’s request to taking the long route back home, so he could spend more time with Duang, Qin is slowly melting. He just doesn’t want to accept his affections so easily; but the subtle change is his expressions whenever Duang unknowingly gets too close, depict his unspoken emotions. While Qin is quiet and stoic, Duang is loud and expressive. This combination is amusing and yet lethally addictive.
