I am Veenita, known as Bookish Veenita on the bookish corner of the internet. My interests know no bounds and I have too many things I wanna explore in this small life I have been granted. Books, manga, webtoon, films and web series are my oxygen. A loyal supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and love queer media, I like to watch and write about them. I prefer shows with detailed plots, moving and sometimes complex storytelling and well explored characters. A voracious reader, my mission is to connect authors with their ideal readers. I love connecting with new authors, read their works and provide constructive criticisms. I also help with beta reading, editing and proofreading. When I'm not reading I'm having a nice cup of mint green tea with dark chocolate and jamming to chill lo-fi beats.

Imagine being a small-town guy with a rare blood condition, finally stepping into the big city for a new life—only to realize that your blood is basically the vampire equivalent of caviar. That’s Tong’s life in My Golden Blood, and let’s just say, things escalated quickly.

“High School Frenemy” Series Review (Ep.1 to 16)

There is longing but no proximity, shy glances and smiles that melt into friendly banter, flirtations turning into friendly leg pulling are both fun to watch and painful to endure, because the main leads look like they are in romantic love but both going “nah!”
