HI, I am Mychelle, and I am a slightly older BL fan. My love for dramas started 4 years ago when flipping through Facebook, I saw a clip for a drama called Love By Chance. I went to YouTube, found the series, and my love affair began. I have watched so many since then, LBC will always be my most cherished. Not only that, but I have also tried my hand at writing BL’s, I have 5 started, 3 are waiting for part 2. Music is also a huge part of my life, as I am Bi Polar, music is therapy for me. I am a huge supporter of the LGBTQ community and am always here for anyone who needs support. I believe Love is Love and will always defend this belief. I love my family, friends and am always here.

“Crazy Handsome Rich” Series Review (Ep.3 to 6)

This was a tough series to watch due to the dreadful dubbing, but I held out and was pleasantly surprised with how cute and funny it was. The actors are amazing, it’s just that they were dealt with a bad scripts and direction. Frank Thanatsaran looked awful with the fake wig. With this kind of talent on hands, I was disappointed in the overall ambience of the show.

“Crazy Handsome Rich” First Impressions (Ep.1 & 2)

“Crazy Handsome Rich” is a series like no other. First off, this was supposed to be a dubbed series so the voices are a bit off and it makes for an unpleasant experience. As such, the dubbing sound effects and background score during scenes are also hindered. Despite these flaws, the show is set in a more mature atmosphere which is very refreshing.

“Dangerous Romance” First Impressions (Ep.1 & 2)

GMMTV’s latest high school romance “Dangerous Romance” uses the age old trope of “Poor vs Rich”, where we have the rich “Kanghan” Krittin Sukprasoet (Perth Tanapon, Love by Chance S1 & S2) and Sailom Homchan (Chimon Wachirawit, Ghost Ships) playing the main lead couple. This series has a distinct “My Gear your Gown” kind of vibes with better writing but better performances. With that being said, I am honestly enjoying this show. Unlike “My Gear your Gown”, which was lacking in chemistry, “Dangerous Romance” delivers. I like the slight differences in the two series. Like hundreds of previous teenage dramas, we have another school setting for this show as well. But I am kind of okay with it as we get to watch the characters grow and mature. I feel this series would not be as good if it didn’t have a school setting like this.

Favourite BL Dramas in the First Quarter (Jan to Apr 2023)- Part II

The first quarter of 2023 was indeed interesting, atleast in terms of BL dramas. Seemingly, we had more qualitative content as against qualitative. “Future” Series Review (Ep.1 to 6)

Future is the new installation in the En of Love saga. We started with TOSSARRA, then Love Mechanics and finally, This is Love Story. The prequels were very well done, and I liked how all characters were intertwined in all these stories. We get to see all our favorite characters from the previous three series. My favorite couple are Gun Tossakan and Bar Sarawat. Alongside we have Mark, Vee, Pra-Ram, and Nuea.

“Once in Memory- Let me be yours” Movie Review

Mind Trio has added another chapter to their “Once in Memory Series”. Let me be Yours is the fourth short film in the series. I was so excited to see another short Film in their “Once in Memory” franchise. Unbelievably, each film is just 20 to 30 minutes long but they tell such a fantastic story. Mind Trio really has the ability to tell a complete story in a short period.

“Coffee Shop” Series Review (Ep.1 to 8)

This short series revolves around the coffee barista Boy (Boy Nattapon) from Ghost Host, Ghost House, who will tell your future from the cup you choose. We also get to meet Boy’s ex Tod (Tod Techit) from Ghost Host, Ghost House, and Love Area 2. Each story is unique and very sweet. The camera frequently zooms in on the glass that is chosen, then Boy touches the glass, the resonating smile on his face is an indication that he has seen the future prospects of the person concerned. Boy then explains what he sees and you get to watch if it is true or not.
