So, I knew what to expect going into this spastic hyper sexual series that surrounds six college friends and the antics they get into. Many familiar actors from multiple series pop up in this drama in quite a few surprising ways, mainly because the cameos weren’t mentioned in any of the trailers that were released online. So, I treat them as cupcakes meant to delight longtime fans of Jojo’s work catalog.

I didn’t quite know what to expect when I started this utopian/dystopian series from production company Bones (which also produced SK∞ the Infinity). The plan was to watch three episodes do a “First Thoughts” post, then return to it later after doing a few more pieces.
First, let me say that this series has got to be one of the strangest yet most addicting series I have ever seen. I literally could not turn it off because when I tried, I was just left wondering, “WTF is going to happen next?!?” So I binged it one sitting.
How often do we see or read something that takes time to adapt or to process and then leaves us feeling lonely after we finished watching or reading it? Lots of BL dramas and movies are released every year, but only some of them leave a meaningful impact. Stay with Me is one of such dramas that left a deep impression on me. I was hooked from the first episode until the last one. Everything about this series starting from the story line, characters, settings to the direction, was topnotch. Like most of the people, I went into watching the series, thinking about how amazing and well-received the original Addicted was and I never thought that anyone can make a better version of the original show without ruining it. And I am very happy and glad to be wrong. As I had already mentioned in the first impressions- watch the show without comparing every little thing to original one.
In Hindi, we have a saying, samajhne wale samajh gaye (the ones who needed/wanted to understand have understood).
