This is the first time that I’m having dubious feelings about the ending of a show….I’m actually relieved that it is over!

“Dear Doctor, I’m Coming for Soul” First Impressions (Ep.1 & 2)
People often talk about the power of love. Love has become synonymous with happiness and success. We want to be surrounded by the people we care about, and we want to chase after the dreams our hearts tell us to pursue.

GagaOOLala’s “Our Days, The Tuxedo & La Cuisine” First Impressions
So, I will be trying something new today. Instead of having individual reviews for each of these GagaOOLala’s originals, I’m going to club these three shows together and share their first impressions. This doesn’t mean that the shows aren’t worth it; rather, their mini series format makes it easy to string them into one piece. Without further ado, let’s review these new releases and get a sense of their strengths & weaknesses!

“Cutie Pie” First Impressions (Ep.1 & 2)
From the first scene itself, I was hooked on to the grand vibe that was reminiscent of a fairy tale, and after the two episodes, it seems that they are playing more and more into the trope of the outwardly aloof yet warm-hearted princely character in Hia Lian.
“2gether” Drama Series+ Movie Review
I have mixed feelings about this series. 2gether was a journey with its ups and downs. Sometimes when the downs hit it seemed impossible that any highs would come, but it still managed to climb. Not to a high, but it was doable. This is a review of the first season, the second special season and the movie of the 2gether franchise.
“You Are My Sunshine- 2021” (2 Episodes) and “You Are My Stupid Boy- 2022” (3 Episodes) Series Review
Honestly, it is hard for me to be objective about Vietnamese BL’s. There is something so organic and raw about them that they have become incredibly endearing to me. And these two short series live up to that standard as well. It is simply a joy to watch and experience. It is obviously a low-budget production with some sound and technical issues; but what it lacks in quality, it makes up for it with intense efforts on the part of the actors and actresses. It is truly and honestly a labor of love. You can see their complete commitment to this series.
