Creating a top favorites list has always been hard for me. How I feel about a drama depends mainly on my mood when watching. So, I generally hesitate to number my lists. Therefore, to put together my top ten favorite Korean BLs from 2020-2022, I revisited my Twitter posts, taking note of the ones that left me reeling enough to spill my feelings into the Twitterverse. Considering the amount of BLs South Korea released over the last few years, narrowing them down was no easy task, but certainly a lot of fun to revisit.

“Fahlanruk The Series” First Impressions (Ep.1 to 3)
University is where young adults define their personalities; where they learn what they want and what they don’t and on Fahlanruk, it seems a bit more complicated. Main character and on campus Mr.Popularity Fahlan (Tonkhao Chayuth) seems to be the name on everyone’s tongue. People gossip, worship, speculate, and lust after him throughout the series. Created by the Thai company Safe Studio under the direction of Chik Sakon and K Chainarong, this off the wall ensemble drama focuses on the concept of “Is Friends with Benefits possible for two lovers?”

“180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us” Series Review (Ep.3 to 8)
The Thai drama 180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us has ended, and it has taken my heart with it. When a series strikes a chord within me, I am very vocal about it, writing multiple pieces hoping others will take the time to discover the magic. 180 Degree Longitude is one of those series, but for the final review, I will simply focus on the people in it, the connection between them, and why these connections touched me.
