Top Ten BL Actors- My Personal Favorites (2025)

An actor’s caliber rests on his ability to command the audience’s attention. 2025 saw a sudden rise in BL dramas and as such, the focus has shifted to intelligent storytelling and smart casting. Gone are the days, when popular actors could drive the ratings for a show. These days, audiences focus more on quality than quantity. If the show is mediocre, not even the most popular actor’s inclusion could save it!

Top Ten BL Couples- My Personal Favorites (2025)

While BL as a genre evolves, so do the consistent pairings. Fan service remains an inevitable choice, there are multiple fandoms with their own favorites (even I belong to one such fandom). As such, we have our personal biases, and they form reckoning forces, through their acting talents and charming chemistry. For this feature, let me describe what chemistry means to them!

“The Wicked Game” Series Review (Ep.4 to 10)

Love is a lens that both blinds and reveals, obscuring the flaws we can’t bear to see while magnifying the truths we’re afraid to face. It’s one of the most life-changing human emotions we experience, powerful enough to save, destroy, or rewrite us entirely. Few series capture that duality quite like The Wicked Game.

BL Week in Review

Christmas came early for me last week with the reveal of the 2026 and beyond lineup for GMMTV. They gave us thirty queer stories. Twenty-two were BL, eight were GL, and one was a stage musical. Having that many series revealed also came with a certain amount of controversy.

BL Week in Review

My favorite Thai company, GMMTV, announced two highly anticipated series that are going to premiere soon. “Burnout Syndrome” and “Melody of Secrets” have been on my must-watch list since I saw their mock trailers at previous lineup events, and I’m so curious to see how they play out. “Burnout Syndrome” starts on Wednesday, and “Melody of Secrets” begins on December 5. I have a good feeling about these two.

BL Week in Review

This week, I had to make some hard decisions. There are so many fun things airing on Fridays and Saturdays, but I’ve vowed that until my novel is done, I can only watch two series per day. Hard decisions were made. I am putting Goddess Bless You From Death and Interminable Thailand briefly on hold while That Summer and The Wicked Game finish. I decided not to watch the three toxic series that began on Saturday. They included: To My Shore, Tide of Love, and Gu Jin Nan Qiu.

BL Week in Review

This week, there were two lineup events. One was from WeTV Thailand, and one was from IQIYI Thailand.

One series I’m excited for is “Be My Player Two”. This was one of WeTV’s announcements. It is from studio Wabi Sabi and has Maxky Ratchata and Bas Hatsanet, who last played together in “Fourever You”. It is apparently a prequel to “A Boss and a Babe”. I like the esports theme, and the preview felt fresh. It’ll be fun.

BL Week in Review

Halloween was last week, and the Thai BL actors were out in full force, sharing their photo shoots. I was excited to see both KristSingto and EarthMix doing a full set. EarthMix costumes were very memorable. Look to Instagram, TikTok, and X for all the fun pictures of your favorites.

Currently Airing Thai BLs That Are Making Waves

We have copious amounts of Thai BL making it to the shores. The sudden outbreak could very well be attributed to the fact that same-sex marriages have been legalized in the country. So, while celebrating their freedom to love any person of their choice, BL projects seem to be paving the path for a new society with a modular mindset.

BL Week in Review

This week, so many series began and ended that it almost gave me whiplash. Still, there were some highlights.

“Chosen Home” is a queer drama from Japan that made me smile through the entire episode. I wouldn’t call it BL. Still, it had a strong found-family element that I adored.
