Historical dramas have a charm of their own. Most of them are relegated to the timeline between the 1930s & 1960s, when western culture was slowly being adopted into the Asian subcontinent. These dramas feature settings that have traditional styles but modern vibes; costumes that betray the local culture whilst the citizens are adapting to a western mindset.
