It’s a special day. Today, we are celebrating our success as we have finally reached the milestone “One Lakh Views”.

I started my journey working as a reviewer for Psychomilk Media in 2020. Three months later, I was promoted to the position of Content Manager. I was absolutely thrilled and the exposure helped me to establish some invaluable connections in the BL world. Unfortunately, the journey came to an end in January 2021, because of some irreconcilable differences with the current management. Although I resigned from Psychomilk, I was still passionate about writing. Thus began my new journey at “The BL Xpress”.

We started as a three member team, whereby my close friends and former colleagues from Psychomilk- ZombieSlimFast and Kdarlings, joined me in this endeavor. Starting from a scratch and building a website isn’t an easy job, but we tried our level best. Kdarlings has an indomitable style of writing; she loves infusing her articles with her personal experiences. They are articulate and heartwarming. I’m sure our readers would agree with this. ZombieSlimFast on the other hand is brutally honest. He doesn’t like beating around the bush, so his articles reflect his thought-provoking queries and intentions.

Next, we were joined by our Desi BL Addicts- Yarnball, KailaGenevieve and PotatoBLChild. Yarnball has an indistinct quality- she loves to relay her frustrations through her writings; so sub par quality shows are met with instant defiance. Kaila Genevieve’s Profilers have a wealth of information; it’s because she spends a considerable amount of time researching about the BL actors and has mastered the art of referencing. PotatoBLChild joined us quite recently, but her writing style is sublime and intuitive. Her Movie Reviews are my all-time favorite.

Our latest additions Mycelle Love and BLBlissAuthor provide us invaluable insights with their varied writing styles. While Mycelle Love has a relaxed tone and attitude; BLBlissAuthor has a more contemplative style. Their articles are always the perfect balance of emotions and perceptions.

As for me, I’m still in the process of rediscovering myself. Every day is like a new dream and I’m enjoying each second of this beautiful tapestry. I was blessed to have friends like Kdarlings and ZombieSlimFast, who have become an integral part of my life. They have rendered their valuable support wholeheartedly and I’m truly blessed. I’m equally grateful to the new members of our family- Yarnball, KailaGenevieve and PotatoBLChild, Mycelle Love and BLBlissAuthor. With them, it is still a learning curve. We are getting to know each other and trying to understand their individual strengths is a heady experience. I feel exuberant while editing their articles. Their dedication and work ethic is exemplary and I’m looking forward to many more years of fun filled writing!

Last but not the least, we would like to thank our ardent readers. This achievement wouldn’t be possible without our subscribers and followers on social media. As such, we wanted to share some important statistics relevant to our website.
