Future is the new installation in the En of Love saga. We started with TOSSARRA, then Love Mechanics and finally, This is Love Story. The prequels were very well done, and I liked how all characters were intertwined in all these stories. We get to see all our favorite characters from the previous three series. My favorite couple are Gun Tossakan and Bar Sarawat. Alongside we have Mark, Vee, Pra-Ram, and Nuea.
In Future, we are introduced to “Ana” Anakhot Cheewachayaka (Bigboom Jirayu) and “Fuse” Khatiphot (Boom Natthapat). I like how this series starts off as a – “Let me see if I can get him to like me” troupe. Ana is unsure why he is single, as he is handsome, nice, and kind. It was sweet and fun to watch Ana falling for Fuse. This show was a bit of a disappointment as the script was not as well written as the others in this series. It was sweet at times, but I had to fast-forward past some scenes as the cringe was too much to handle. There were a lot of unnecessary scenes and the subtitles could have been better. The odd pacing made it harder to like the show.

What was supposed to be a miniseries with five episode series was unexpectedly extended to six episodes. The fifth episode was seriously a hot mess, and I wasn’t hopeful about the final episode as well. As expected, the last episode was a lost cause and the ending was bizarre. This series was bearable, but nothing much to talk about. Between Ana’s insistent pouts of jealousy and the random counseling sessions offered by the friends group, the show was just a hot mess. Bigboom and Boom look adorable together. They did their best, but the script was poorly written and for me, this is where this series lacked. Set in Love Mechanics universe, we do get to see Gun and Bar. There is an honorable mention of Mark and Vee but nothing more. This could have been so much better if the storyline was executed properly. The storytelling feels rushed. The addition of the sixth episode to try to smooth over the ruffled features was a waste of time. I do want to thank the cast for being adorable and fun. For me, Future wasn’t exactly a worthwhile watch. I will let you all judge for yourself. Do let me know your thoughts!

I called it quits after ep 2. It had all of the things that drive me nuts in Thai bls, but the worst offender was the audio. It was atrocious to just listen.
