GMMTV releases Official Announcement Regarding the ‘Cherry Magic TH’ broadcast

Despite being a huge success, the issues surrounding ‘Cherry Magic TH’ broadcast on YouTube still remain unresolved. The media giant has released an announcement informing that all broadcasts of the series on the GMMTV YouTube channel outside of Thailand will remain suspended due to a mistake in their contract regarding the scope of broadcasting permissions. Once each country has resolved its copyright and licensing issues, the broadcasts will resume.

Mew Suppasit & Tul Pakorn Featured in Hommes Thailand

In the midst of the speculation surrounding their close relationship, Thai actors Mew Suppasit and Tul Pakorn were recently featured in the popular magazine, Hommes Thailand. This is their third collaboration after being featured together in Harper Bazaar & Leisure Social.

Build Jakapan’s New Miniseries

“KinnPorsche” star Build Jakapan has released a short teaser for his upcoming miniseries “Infinity”. Produced in collaboration with Bellga Ent from China, this is Build’s first project after his comeback as a solo artist last year.

Chemistry of Love

2B Entertainment in collaboration with MCV Group will be soon broadcasting a reality series. Titled “Chemistry of Love”, the show will feature Boy’s love contestants undergoing cast training and co-living in the same space. Set to premiere in May, 2024.

Gray Shelter

Cha Soo Hyuk is focused only on his survival, without any grand goals. He reunites with Yoon Dae who he was very close with. Yoon Dae was living with his girlfriend but now has nowhere to go. They end up living together. This Korean BL drama stars Lee Jae Bin who previously starred in Choco Milk Shake alongside Jang Woo Young. Premieres on April 11th 2024.

Monster Next Door

A WeTV Thailand Original produced in collaboration with Kongthup Production (Two Worlds), “Monster Next Door” has begun filming. Adapted from Jiwinil’s novel “Godzilla Next Door”, the show stars Thanakorn Kuljarassombat (Gen Y S1 & S2, My Mate Match, Big Dragon) and Anantadej Sodsee (2Moons: The Ambassador) in lead roles. Director Phadung Samajarn (Lit) popular for his varied works like “My Engineer”, “Love Mechanics”, “Dangerous Romance” and “Love Translation” will be helming the project.

Synopsis-

Cute introvert Diewdai likes living in his ultra private world, hiding away in his apartment. His best friend is a turtle called Khun Chai. Diew’s life of peace, however, is destroyed when God—an extroverted senior from another faculty—moves in next door. God throws loud daily parties. Diew does his best to endure it—he likes this building—but one night he can’t take it any longer. He slams his door shut to let God know he has a neighbour. After having been there a month, God feels bad and—unsure how to apologise—addresses him from the balcony. Diew responds unconcernedly and, going back and forth, the pair’s talking turns to friendship, with the caveat that they mustn’t meet face-to-face, Diew insists.

My Marvelous Dream is You

Promotions are in full swing for Idol Factory’s upcoming GL “My Marvellous Dream Is You”. The show stars Fay Kanyaphat as Dawan & May Yada as Khimhan, who were recently paired in the fantasy BL “The Sign”. Adapted from the novel “Dream” (Dream : คิมหันต์…ฉันฝันถึงเธอ) by Chao Planoy (เจ้าปลาน้อย), the show is set to premiere on 8th May with the uncut version made available for free on Idol Factory’s YouTube Channel.

Synopsis-

A girl who falls in love with a girl she sees in her dreams. She then meets her in real life.

My Ex’s Wedding

Directed by Thanwimon Onpaplew (Sindy), the upcoming Thai GL movie “My Ex’s Wedding” recently held a workshop for the cast members. Starring Lux Sulax (Jay), Prom Kanchanisara (Natty), Mulan Sekporn (Grace) and Anji Arisa (B), the movie is scheduled to release in theatres in 2024.

Synopsis-

Cranium

Author Nalan Lek had posted pictures in the month of January, sparking speculations about the production house adapting her thriller romance “Cranium”. Director A Natthaphong (“GAP The Series”, “The Sign” and upcoming “Dream GL”) posted images from the novel, finally putting the speculations to rest. Cast still unannounced!

Synopsis-

As two of a very few biological anthropologists in the country, a catastrophic plane crash forces two doctors and former university rivals to work together. While identifying victims, the discovery of an unexpected skull adds a new layer of mystery to the investigation. At some point during their work, a shift in their typically adversarial relationship occurs.

Uranus 2324

Velcurve Studio releases teaser posters for their upcoming Thai Sci-fi GL , “Uranus 2324” starring FreenBecky in the lead roles, Linlada Sasinpimon & Kath. Directed by James Thanadol, the movie is set to premiere next year. The storyline follows Kath, who returns to Thailand from New York. While visiting her old home, she is forced to relive her painful memories with long-lost lover, Lin. Linlada Sasinpimon was a Thai astronaut stationed at the Uratis space station who reportedly lost contact with NASA. As Kath is assaulted with their memories, she remembers the promise that Lin made-

“No matter how far you are, I will always find you.”

The Secret of Us

Ch3 Thailand’s first official GL project “The Secret of Us” has finished filming. Adapted from the web novel, “Jai Son Rak” (ใจซ่อนรัก) by Meenam (มีนาม), the show stars Lingling Sirilak & Orm Kornnaphat in the lead roles. Set to premiere in June, 2024.

Synopsis-

Doctor Fahlada, nicknamed Doctor Angel has been trying to hide the pain, from being carelessly abandoned by the woman she loved. But then by chance she meets the same woman again. A woman she would never forget for even a second, who has become Aen Sanitada, a rising young heroine.
