Boys Be Brave

We have the early release of the official trailer for the upcoming Korean BL “Boys Be Brave”. Adapted from the webtoon “Can’t Confess” (고백을 못하고) by Seok Young (석영), the show stars Kim Sung Hyun & Nam Shi An alongside Ahn Se Min & Jung Yeo Joon. The web series has 8 episodes and is set to premiere on 25th April.

Synopsis-

Jung Ki Sub is Kim Jin Woo’s slacker friend – and secret crush. So when Ki Sub asks to crash at his place, his heart tingles to be near him everyday. But as the short stay turns into permanent mooch, how long can Jin Woo keep his true feelings under wraps and hold back from confessing?

The Last Case

Upcoming Thai GL original “The Last Case TH” releases official poster and pilot. Starring Esther Oruche, Prang Panisara, Atom Aphichaya, Merview Saranbhorn, Pang Isaree, Gene Ornalin, the show is a mystery thriller, depicting a romance between a doctor & a lawyer. The drama has two secondary pairings apart from the main couple.

Cranium GL

In the midst of fevered speculations, Idol Factory has officially announced the adaptation of “Cranium GL”. Based on the novel by author Nalan Lek, the show will be directed by Director A Natthaphong (GAP The Series, The Sign, upcoming Dream GL). Cast still unannounced. The show is set to premiere in 2025.

Synopsis-

As two of a very few biological anthropologists in the country, a catastrophic plane crash forces two doctors and former university rivals to work together. While identifying victims, the discovery of an unexpected skull adds a new layer of mystery to the investigation. At some point during their work, a shift in their typically adversarial relationship occurs.

Chemistry of Love

Starting with a spin-off project to the movie “Under The Oak Tree” which is set to air on May 21, 2024, “Chemistry Of Love” is a new reality series sponsored by 2B Entertainment in collaboration with MCV Group and Mbcs. Premieres on May 17, 2024.

The show has now finished filming Season One which includes old and new actors from the Boys’Love world: Couple Tran Vu Duc Duy-Vuong Huy, Doan Huynh Duy Lam, Gia Huy, Doan Huynh Duy Lam; with a very special guest lineup. Season One will help the audiences understand more about the workshop process of producing a BL movie in Vietnam, alongside the explosive emotions of hot boys who will be staying together in the house, for four days of rehearsals.

Battle of the Writers

Upcoming adaptation “Battle Of The Writers” has officially begun filming. Based on the web novel “The Great Battle of Games” (游戏大作战) by Ping Guo Shu Shu Shu (苹果树树树), the show stars Tutor Koraphat and Yim Pharinyakorn as the lead couple, Chan & Ob-un. Side couples include Mark Sorntast (Pie) & Gems Jassada (Ozone), Willi Arawill (Sin) & Focus Poonyavee (Jingjang).

Synopsis-

Aob-Oon and Shou are both authors. They don’t get along because of a plagiarism incident that happened in the past. Chaos ensues when the two are asked to collaborate and write a danmei novel together.

A Man Who Defies the World of BL 3

Fresh stills released for upcoming romcom

“A Man Who Defies the World of BL 3”. Adapted from the manga series “Zettai BL ni Naru Sekai VS Zettai BL ni Naritakunai Otoko” (絶対BLになる世界VS絶対BLになりたくない男) by Konkichi (紺吉), the third installment in this popular franchise has Inukai Atsuhiro (Mob) starring in the lead role alongside Yutaro, Ito Asahi, Shiono Akihisa, each reprising their roles from earlier seasons. This season, Mob desperately spends his days resisting the handsome men approaching him and dodging situations that are likely to develop into love. Set to premiere on April 23.

I’m Your Moon

Adapted from the novel “Katsathitthan” (กัษธิษฐาน) by Ace, the main cast of the upcoming Thai GL “I’m Your Moon” has been announced. Starring Ploy Natcha & Sprite Wachariya in the lead roles of Atitthan & Katsakorn alongside supporting couples Mie Phattaranan (Tawanil) Belle Ploynaphat (Milint) and Qiuqiu Chayapa (Chayapa), Mook Chanikan (Ninnet).

Synopsis-

The plot follows two women born in love in 1913, who weren’t destined to be together. They then meet again in another life in 2021, but things are still not easy.

Oriental Magician in the Entertainment Circle

Official poster for upcoming Chinese BL drama “Oriental Magician in the Entertainment Circle” released. Starring Chen Peng and Wang Ruichang in the leading roles, this is Ruichang’s second time starring in a BL adaptation after “Dreamcatcher”.

Live In Love The Series

Studio on Fire has announced the new casting for their upcoming romance “Live In Love The Series”. Chokkorn Deotrakul will be replacing Non Kanpiang as Cake opposite Hearth Chindanai (Kla). Adapted from the novel “Live in Love” (Live in Love .. รักผ่านไลฟ์) by Yeonim (ยอนิม), the drama depicts a pure and feel-good love story between Kla and Cake, where their story begins through live streaming and gradually develops into love. Production will resume soon.
