Flavor of Us

Adapted from the novel “Prung Rak Hai Long Lock” (ปรุงรักให้ลงล็อก) by Love Router, the show has ensemble casting which includes Peipei Krit, Phanpee Ratchatasakorn as main leads alongside Benjamin Brasier, Rang Jirakith Hongthong and Dome Woranart, Marwin Akkaradanai as secondary pairings.

Synopsis-

Meekhun is a famous food critic. Faced with an enormous debt his mother has amassed, he has no idea how he can possibly fix it. It’s hard to see if it’s a blessing or a curse when he suddenly finds himself the sole inheritor of his grandfather’s restaurant. The restaurant is located on a small island quickly becoming a tourist spot. If he were to sell it, the money would be more than enough to pay off what his mother owes. Nothing is ever so easy, however. There’s a caveat. Meekhun will only be permitted to sell the restaurant and the land it sits on when he’s run the business for one year. Meekhun’s biggest headache, however, is the restaurant’s chef his grandfather has specified in his will.

Upcoming Vietnamese BL “Under The Oak Tree” by 2B Entertainment shares the first look teaser. Starring Trần Vũ Đức Duy & Vuong Huy in lead roles. Premieres on 21st May 2024 on YouTube.

Synopsis-

Upcoming Chinese BL “Inverse Identity” releases trailer. The story focuses on Jian An, a sickly but genius and eccentric young master who unexpectedly meets Yan Lu, a former bodyguard. The show has 9 episodes and premieres on 3rd May, 2024.

Interview with Vampire

Jacob Anderson & Sam Reid return to reprise their roles, Louis de Pointe du Lac & Lestat de Lioncourt alongside Assad Zaman (Armand) in a spectacular love triangle. “Interview With The Vampire Season Two” premieres May 12 on AMC and AMCPlus.

Bad Guy My Boss

Costume fitting has started for upcoming Thai BL adaptation “Bad Guy My Boss”. Adapted from the novel “Bad Guy (My Boss)” (เจ้านาย ร้ายรัก) by anin19, the show stars James Hayward & Kad Ploysupa in lead roles alongside Zax Nattapat, Nick Steiner, Fam Thanuphat & Kin Anakin.

Synopsis-

Aware that it is not appropriate for an employee to fall in love with his own boss, “Patt,” a personal assistant to an austere, mixed-race businessman, “Ares,” therefore tries to restrain his emotions and maintain their relationship on a boss-employee basis. However, Patt’s effort is constantly challenged by Ares’s persistent attempt in making him his “one and only” sweetheart. Amid the intense competition in the red ocean of billion-baht-worth businesses where many rivals also want to win Patt’s heart, Ares needs to remove his unlovable characteristics in order not to lose Patt to anyone. Of course, transforming his personality is not as easy as undressing his assistant!

Pagpag

Upcoming PinoyBL “Pag Pag Film”, written and directed by Jay-r Julio and produced by Aiah Gertose Jelsy Arcales. Tells the story of two best friends from high school who, after visiting the wake of a deceased friend, decide to go ‘pagpag’.

Note: “Pagpag” is a Filipino tradition in which people visit another place after a funeral or wake before returning home, believing it will drive away any evil spirits that may have followed them.

The Wanderers

Adapted from the novel “The Orphans of Red Planet (火星孤儿)” by Liu Yang (刘洋), upcoming bromance “The Wanderers” releases trailer for Hunan TV & MGTV’s industry event. Drama was filmed in 2021 and stars Fei Qi Ming & Zhao Yi Qin in lead roles.

Synopsis-

The story depicts Jinteng High School, an unprecedented school. With its unfathomable unique teaching, it maintains marvelous enrollment rate. Adapted from the novel “I Saw You in My Dream” (คุณในฝัน) by Afterday, “I Saw You In My Dream” stars Putter Phubase & Ryu Ingkarat in lead roles alongside Surf Patchara & Game Orarig.

Synopsis-

On the last night of the sixth and twelfth month each year, Ai has long had prophetic dreams. There’s only one thing he’s never dreamt of—love. On the last night of that year, however, he dreams of a love so warm. He doesn’t want to believe that the man of his dream could be P’Yu, a neighbour skilled at driving him crazy, the opposite of dream Yu.

Heartstopper 3

In the upcoming season, Eddie Marsan will be portraying Geoff, Charlie’s wise and straight-talking therapist, Hayley Atwell joins the Nelson family as Nick’s Aunt Diane, and Jonathan Bailey will be making a cameo appearance as Jack Maddox, Charlie’s Instagram-famous crush. Heartstopper Season Three will be on Netflix worldwide in October.

Sadistic Love

Official character posters released for upcoming Chinese Bromance “Sadistic Love”. An adaptation of 掌中雀 (The Bird in the Palm) by Fengfei, the show stars Dai Gaozheng & GuanYue in the lead roles. Set in the 1920s, it is a story about an Opera Singer & a Warlord.

Synopsis-

Han Moxiao made up his mind to risk his life to capture Fourth Master Liang and rescue the people he wanted to save. But Liang Jinxi was well-dressed on the surface, but underneath the skin he was a beast, as fierce as if he had a grudge against someone in bed. Han Moxiao felt that he could not serve him, and wanted to withdraw after the matter was accomplished. Liang Jinxi refused and tied him to her side, teasing and pampering him from time to time like a pet. Han Moxiao couldn’t escape, so he became the bird in the palm of Fourth Master Liang at first.

Blossom Campus

Strongberry’s upcoming Korean BL “Blossom Campus” is set to premiere May 16th 2024 on IQIYI, Viki and Gagaoolala. Starring Son Byeong Hoon Choi Dong Ho & Woo Hyeok in lead roles, the show has 6 episodes with a runtime of 20 minutes each.

Synopsis-

The drama depicts Kim Min Jae, a transfer student majoring in Practical Music and working part-time at the library, and Lee Kyu Ho, a Taekwondo major who helped him. Since their first meeting, the two have become entangled and closer, leading them to develop a romantic relationship.

Century of Love

Daou & Offroad’s new project for which they have been tentatively shooting has released the first look poster. Entitled “Century Of Love Series”, the show will be their second project together as main leads after the recently concluded “Love In Translation”.

Uranus 2324

Velcurve Studio releases official posters for their upcoming Thai Sci-fi GL , “Uranus 2324” starring FreenBecky in the lead roles, Linlada Sasinpimon & Kath. Directed by James Thanadol, the movie is set to premiere on 4th July, 2024.

Synopsis-

The storyline follows Kath, who returns to Thailand from New York. While visiting her old home, she is forced to relive her painful memories with long-lost lover, Lin. Linlada Sasinpimon was a Thai astronaut stationed at the Uratis space station who reportedly lost contact with NASA. As Kath is assaulted with their memories, she remembers the promise that Lin made-

“No matter how far you are, I will always find you.”

Battle of the Writers

Official poster released for the upcoming adaptation “Battle Of The Writers”. Based on the web novel “The Great Battle of Games” (游戏大作战) by Ping Guo Shu Shu Shu (苹果树树树), the show stars Tutor Koraphat and Yim Pharinyakorn as the lead couple, Chan & Ob-un. Side couples include Mark Sorntast (Pie) & Gems Jassada (Ozone), Willi Arawill (Sin) & Focus Poonyavee (Jingjang).

Synopsis-

Aob-Oon and Shou are both authors. They don’t get along because of a plagiarism incident that happened in the past. Chaos ensues when the two are asked to collaborate and write a danmei novel together.
