Pray in Love

Soulchill Official’s short film “Pray In Love” which was announced in 2023, will premiere on 20th May on their YouTube Channel. Starring Zheng Nan Zhong & Huang Li Feng in lead roles, the story focuses on a policeman, Yuan Shao Hu searching for Xian An, an orphan and illegitimate son of the Yang family.

Synopsis-

For revenge, Yang Qi An pretends to agree to his biological father, Yang Qing Hai’s politically motivated arranged marriage, not expecting his father to be one step ahead of his plan. Following the shooting, Yang Qing Hai grows in popularity and is successfully elected mayor, resolving a political crisis. Before this, Yang Qi An’s mother committed suicide in prison after being set up by the Yang family. Fourever You

Shooting has begun for the “East : Tag!, You’re Mine” of the “Fourever You” project. Adapted from the novels ” East: Tag!, You’re Mine” by Howlsairy, the first part stars Pond Ponlawit & Earth Katsamonnat in lead roles as Hill & Easter. Costume fitting has also begun for the various pairings in the four anthologies, which also stars Maxky Ratchata, Bas Suradej, Bever Patsapon, Tonliew Methaphat, Ngern Anupart & Oat Tharathon.

Synopsis-

Wanting to forget the painful story of my first love, I decided to move out to study in a far away place. Even though we haven’t seen each other for almost a year, I ended up finding out that he was studying here as well. There were many rumors about him; he is a famous person at the university in the medical faculty, handsome, rich, good at studying, a man who is perfect at everything. Love Bully

Director Golf Tanwarin (The Eclipse Series, Wandee Goodday) has announced that the Thai GL couple Engfa Waraha and Charlotte Austin, popularly known as “Englot” will be starring in CHANGE 2561’s Club Friday anthology series. Titled “LoveBully”, the show has started filming and will have 4-5 episodes. Engfa & Charlotte previously starred in “Show Me Love” and will be starring in TV Thunder’s upcoming project “Petrichor”.

Whisper Me A Love Song

A live-action stage play has been announced for the currently airing Japanese GL anime “Whisper Me A Love Song”. The play shall debut in theaters & will be available from Friday, July 26th to Friday, August 2nd, 2024. The main cast members were selected through audition and challenged to actually sing and perform live on stage. The main cast members were revealed to be Momoka Ishii as Yori Asanagi, Yui Watanabe as Himari Kino Yuuki, Tenma as Aki Mizuguchi, Nagisa Hayakawa as Mari Tsutsui, Kayama Nanase as Kaori Tachibana, Chiyuki Ito as Shiho Izumi, Shiori Nishikado as Momoka Satomiya, Kaede Sakuragi as Hajime Amasawa.

Runaway GL

Baanchan Production has acquired the adaptation rights for “Runaway GL”. Based on the novel by Zonlicht, the story focuses on Win who has been chased by a ghost all her life & a brown-haired woman, daughter of a medium, the only one who can help her, but refuses to do so. The production house will soon announce casting.

The Indonesian BL short film “Where The Wild Frangipanis Grow” has been selected for screening at the Queer East Festival 2024 in London. Starring Donny Damara and Agus Wiratama, the story focuses on Aditya, a loyal assistant in a Balinese Ashram who is torn between his charismatic spiritual leader named Guru Bagus and an innocent student.

SunsetxVibes

Mos Panuwat & Bank Mondop’s upcoming project “SunsetxVibes” is set to premiere on June 15 on iQIYI. Adapted from the webnovel “Sunsetxvibes” (เพียงชลาลัย) by Rosesarin_, the show consists of 12 episodes.

Synopsis-

Heart Killers

Costume fitting has begun for the upcoming GMMTV original “Heart Killers”. Directed by Jojo Tichakorn, the show stars Khaotung Thanawat, First Kanaphan, Joong Archen & Dunk Natachai in lead roles.

Synopsis-

It follows the story of a tattoo artist, Kant, who is tasked by the police to dig into the mysterious killings of businessmen and politicians. Kant tails the two assassin brothers, Fadel and Bison, who also run a restaurant. Things take a turn when Kant finds himself falling for Bison. Meanwhile, Fadel gets caught with a car mechanic named Style.

Surfing

The “Until We Meet Again” pairing Ohm Thitiwat & Fluke Natouch will be reuniting for the Korean drama “Surfing”. Having previously starred in “Close Friends S1 & S2”, “Oh! My Sunshine Night” & “609 Bedtime Story”, this is their sixth project together. Produced by Playlist Film/ Aukivs, the show is sports themed and will have 6 episodes of 45 minutes runtime.

Synopsis-

A meeting between a surfer who had to go around the world following the waves but had to hide his scars and come back & a novice surfer majoring in arts. The story of them finding balance on unexpected waves.

Love Syndrome: The Beginning

Adapted from book 1 and 2 of the web novel series “Love Syndrome” (รักโคตรๆ โหดอย่างมึง) by Yeo Nim (ยอนิม), the movie stars Bix Tagon & Nef Rattanan as Itt & Day. Set to premiere on May 9th 2024 on WeTV.

Synopsis-

Itt was raped by Day because Itt was the mastermind behind the plan that hurt Day’s younger brother Night. This plan was to trick Night into falling in love with Itt’sfriend, Gear who then raped him. Day discovered the plan after it happened and took his revenge by raping Itt and videotaping the rape as blackmail material. Whenever Itt said something that ‘Day’ didn’t like, he would verbally and physically beat and abuse him. Day used this videotape to blackmail Itt, and forced him to come and live with him. They started to grow feelings for each other despite the extreme situation. Especially Itt who wanted Day to make his feelings clear. So he ran away with the help of Night. After this Day went crazy when he found out and realized how much he really liked Itt despite what he did to him. “The rapist can’t end up with his victim unless he does something to prove his love right?”
