Summary: Khun Nueng, M.L. Sipakorn, is a beautiful woman who’s grown up under pressure from her grandmother. She’s never been allowed to be herself, never met someone she could feel loved by or worthy of. Then she meets Anueng, cheerful and bright. Beneath the smiling face, however, there’s a sadness hidden in her eyes. She makes her heart flutter like never before. Unfortunately, the sixteen-year-old age difference, family, and societal norms keep their love from flourishing.
Adapted from a novel of the same name, this mini-series is a spin-off of the famous GL “Gap The Series”. This an age-gap GL between Khun Nueng (Faye Peraya) and Anueng (Yoko Apasra), though I want to make it clear that the characters are at the right age to date, so the age difference doesn’t seem inappropriate. The series is a fresh breath of air in between lots of cringy and plain situations. The chemistry between the leads is cute and Yoko’s acting has an innocence to it that will make you adore her with all your heart. Faye as Khun Neung is brilliant, her acting is commendable, her expression doesn’t seem forced or awkward and is very detailed. She has put a lot of effort into her role and while watching the series you won’t find awkward pauses, forced acting, or expressions. Faye has grasped the very essence of Khun Neung’s character, who can mask her feelings.

I didn’t like her grandmother much, she was not my favorite character in either of the series (Gap or Blank) because most of her life, she made her granddaughters miserable but it was sad to see her die.
The love story between the main leads is full of innocence and adoration for each other which you can feel while watching the budding romance. Watching Anueng being heartbroken was so hard but when you watch the show, it’ll be very clear that she is the most mature and smartest person ever with a heart of love. It was also nice to see cameos by Sam and Mon from “Gap the Series” (though we have different actresses portraying the characters), but it was expected given that both the series share the same universe.
The acting, direction, screenplay everything is detail-oriented and done fabulously. Yoko and Faye have undeniably hot on-screen chemistry with and their onscreen intimacy to those bitter-sweet moments, everything felt real. I need to watch Season Two because I need to see what will happen next!
